The slots are located behind your keyboard. First disconnect the power cord from the computer and remove the battery. To remove the keyboard, there is a screw locate next to the release slider for the battery, remove it and set it aside.. Flip the laptop back over and lift it out from the top (by the function keys) and lay it keys down on the touch pad. You can remove the keyboard completely if desired, but not necessary. Install the new memory into the exposed slot following the instructions, and take all safety precautions. Assemble the computer reverse of how you took it apart.

Go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver for the monitor and it should restore the functionality. Also go to the Sony website and download any video drivers for your PC.
