Hi, last night when i pressed the power on button on the remote control, the standby light went from red to amber then back to red (standby) mode again, even manually pressing the buttons does not help, i have had the back off to check fuses but they are ok, still same problem no picture or sound just a click noise then silence. any suggestions please, thanks!

- my tv will not some on it flashes green for a couple of seconds and then the red stand by light comes on. Two days ago I tried it again and it actually came on but after I turned it off it has not come back on sense. I can't find my receipt and even if I could it's been a little less than 6 months since I purchased it so the warranty will not pay for it. good grief - my TV just did the same thing - its locked in standby mode - I disconnected power several times - each time i reconnect the green light comes on for about a minute 9nothing happens on the screen) and then returns to the stanby mode
