I get busy signal when dialing from contact list in my Uniden Dect 6.0

New telephone company procedures in many areas now
require that all 10 digits be dialed even for local calls --
Area Code + Exchange + Number

Perhaps your Directory listings do not include the area code ?

Good luck!

Landline phone constant busy signal

should you dial 9 or another access code for outside calls?

If if you dial an "outside" number on an intercom line it will look at the first 2-3 digits as another extension. You need to dial the Central Office access code, or use a line key assigned to an outside line.

FRONT END VIBRATION

The dealer is not going to replace something if they can not prove to the company the part is defective. The company won't pay the warranty claim.
A bent axle was my next guess. A garage could find out by using the same dial indicator used to check for a bent rim.
The dial gauge is placed against the shaft and the wheel is turned, if the axle is bent the dial will move.
I don't know what Road Forced balanced means, but most balancing machines duplicate road speed of about 30MPH. So a tire or wheel can balance ok on a machine but still have a vibration at speeds above 30 or 40mph. The easiest way to make sure is move the front tires to the back and see if the vibration travels too.
If you are describing the problem correctly, it almost has to be in the transmission, the axles, or the wheels. There is a slight chance a strut or strut mount could be faulty and allowing a small bounce to be amplified.

When I dial a fax number I get a busy signal even though I know that the number is not busy because I have dialed it on my outside line and it works. This has happened repeatedly. I have unplugged...

Since you mentioned that you have an outside line, do you have to use a code to dial out normally? Try plugging in a phone to the line for your fax machine, and attempt to dial the number for the other fax machine using the phone. You should reach the fax and hear a high pitched sequence of tones. This is the other fax machine trying to establish a connection. If you still get a busy signal, try calling the owner and letting them know that their fax machine is not accepting incoming calls.

I can only get heating to the radiators upstairs, not downstairs

balance the rads.
upstair radiators turn all valves off, heat will then divert downstairs, open valves upstairs 4 turns on locksheilds and number 4 on trvs if u have any.
then if that does not work get a combi or powerflush.
if u cant afford then drain a little from rads, get x300 sludge remover from plumb shop and put in header tank(not hot water tank).
then fill system up and repeat balancing.

I cant fax

Take your cell-phone, and dial the same number, to see if you get the same "busy" signal.

If the telephones in your business require you to "dial-9" to get an "outside" line, be sure that your FAX is also following that "dial-9" protocol, and also waiting 1 or 2 seconds after the "dial-9", in order to get the dial-tone from the "outside" line.

If you don't have the number that the DSL is on, you can either dial it and short out each pair of terminals at the junction box until it stops ringing, or listen carefully to the line after you break dial tone with your telephone. An unfiltered DSL has a lot of white noise on the line.

If that line appeared anywhere else in the building, it may also be the one with filters on it, or the filter may be installed at the first point it appears in the building.

Need to add a prefix

First of all you must enter the program mode if you have your manual it will tell you how to do this. If not try this. press the # and on the screen should show command and a flashing number with a question mark. Enter the number 700 and press enter. this will get you in the prefixes. use the next key to scroll until you a a line with no numbers, it may take a little bit depending on how many prefixes are entered. Now then you use the arrow key to get past the first 3 digits that are flashing, enter the number 01 for non toll calls arrow over one more time enter the number to access an outside line commonly 9 then the prefix excatly how it is dialed eg.( 001 01 91800 05). Recap the 001 is what number in the list of approved prefixes. 01 is non toll call. 9 is the access number dialed form the room to get an outside line. 1800 is the first numbers dialed to call a number like 1800DIRECT. 05 is the number of digits dialed including 9. If you have any problems with this email me donnie_rawls2002 at yahoo.com. Hope this helps. I had to do this today at a local hotel and it was a bit confusing in finding the right commands and how to get there.

Panasonic KX-T633?

If it were my choice, I'd set up an ICD number and forward that to an outside number. Something like pick 400 or 600 plus your extension like 605 (they tend to be defined by default), and go into the group fwd command to dial your cell numbers.

Any call placed from anywhere, either VM, internal, or transfer will go out on another line and dial your cell...assuming you put the fwd number in both places.
