Majority of small engines use about .004-.006 in ( .10-.15 mm ) for valve clearance. If you need help actually adjusting them. You need to invest in a manual.

Using a feeler gauge what would you set your exhaust valves to on a 2003 Suzuki gz 250

Hi, Wayne valve clearance (when cold): IN. : 0.03-0.08 mm (0.001-0.003 in)
EX.: 0.08-0.13 mm (0.003-0.005 in) For this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one. I have a pecking noise , a mechanic said my intake valve needs to be adjusted. Could you tell me where thats located on a 2005 Suzuki Katana

Located under the cylinder head cover. There are eight rocker arms. Each rocker arm has two adjusters, 8 for intake and 8 for exhaust. The intake adjusters are at the carb side of engine, the exhaust adjusters are at the front of the engine. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Is valve adjustment a part of normal maitenance on Suzuki Esteem

When you hear some tapping, that's why you need -valve adjustments. At 137,000miles you probably need more than that to continue your trouble-free drives.
