SOURCE: AELFCHECK Problem with Panasonic DVD Recorder

Hi

This problem is associated with a regulator on the power board. It's an easy fix if you can use a soldering iron.

If not you may be able to get someone to repair it for you. I have posted instructions on how to replace the defective component.

Please note the instructions I have given refer to the DMR E55 but the E95H is much the same.

SOURCE: Panasonic DVD player won't finalize

You can try a dvd+r disc. Borrow one before buying a stack of them.

The other thing is that you may not have enough free space left to burn the finalization track; 7 1/2 hours is a lot of recordings.

Give the +R disc a try even though it says it can't use them in your documentation, a lot of users report it works anyway.

Please don't forget to rate all of our solutions here on the board. Thanks.

SOURCE: How to transfer Panasonic DMR-E80H recorded DVDs to computer

I have to agree with XELIAM regarding finishing the disk, under the DVD "FUNCTIONS" selection from the remote. I also use the SLYSOFT products to transfer my videos to what ever other mode of video I wish to have, whether iPOD (MP4), or DIVX (AVI) or loads of other options. Slysoft makes a GREAT product

Panasonic are very good at having free PDF copies of user manuals. However if you just want to playback old tapes then all you need do is connect the vcr to a TV and press play. You might need to adjust the tracking using the controls on the remote. But the picture should play. If you see snow on the screen, but can hear sound, then the tape heads will need to be cleaned. You can get a VCR cleaning tape for that.

I turn on my Panasonic TH-42PD60U Television - red LED blinks and there is a clicking noise but TV doesn't turn on.

Panasonic plasmas are notorious for their power board problems.

I can't know which one of the few possibilities yours might have, but at the very least it is worth checking against the most common ones(s):

http://www.coppelltvrepair.com/p/54/repair-kit-for-panasonic-th-42px60u-panasonic-th-42px600u-and-panasonic-th-42pd60u

Read the listing, get a multimeter and check the described components for short or open (in case of a fuse) and if it matches then that's the problem and that's the solution.

For in-depth troubleshooting help consider using www.coppelltvrepair.com/diagnose - it's free to ask, but we may not always be able or willing to help and when we do we'll typically put a price on a consultation.

PANASONIC VIDEO CAMERA BACK UP PROBLEMS

You have the charger for it? This would be an old, original battery? I suggest it is too old. The technology does age. You can only buy a replacement, or if you are capable, you can rebuild the old at a reduced cost. In case you have no manual, I found one at http://www.instructionsmanuals.com/u2/pdf/camara_video/Panasonic-NVG3-en.pdf You need a pdf reader.

Follow the instructions in the "Copy" subsection of the "Using PLAY Menu" section of the manual (page 72 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one at

I have a green spot in the upper left corner when watching tv . Is there a repair for this problem?

The spots are caused by errors in the eeprom affecting the optical engine data. The fix is easy but it will have to be done by an authorized Panasonic shop. Call your toll free customer line at panasonic to find out, but I'm sure the repair should be covered under warranty regardless of the age of the unit. Thx

I have an old model PANASONIC SL-CH750E/K It is not playing any of my burned cd's. I have used wmp and nero-7 it simply doesn't recognise them.

A lot of the older cd players just don't play burned CD's due to the newer formatting. You might try copying them in .wav file format, the old units and CD's used this instead of mp3. Make sure the CD's are finalized, but it is probably due to the age of the unnit.

Panasonic DP-1810P Laser Copier

The copier has an "eye" that detects when the waste toner bottle is full. If you dump it and reuse it, the residue can build up and cause the machine to "think" the bottle is still full. I experienced the same problem. If you re-use an old bottle, after emptying, rinse our any remaining residue and dry the bottle out. Your copier should then notice the bottle being empty.
