Im having problems terminating my yahoo account even after trying all options

Sign in to your Yahoo! account. You will need to sign in with the account that you want to delete. If you forgot your password, follow the password recovery link at the login page.
Open the Yahoo! homepage. Scroll down and click the Help link at the bottom-right corner of the page. Click the My Account link at the bottom of the Help page.

• Select the "Register or delete account" section in the Account page.
• Click the "Closing your Yahoo! account" link.
• Click the "Account Termination" link in the middle of the page.
• Enter your login information again. Even if you are already logged in, you will need to log in again. This helps prevent accounts from being deleted if they're left open somewhere.

Read the Account Termination notification page. Note that deleting your Yahoo! account will revoke access to the entire Yahoo! services bundle, which includes your Yahoo! Mail, ID, Contacts, Flickr account, and more.

• If you have any Yahoo! paid services, unsubscribe from them before deleting your Yahoo! account. If you don't you may continue to get billed even if your account is deleted.
• Enter your password. In order to confirm deletion, you will need to enter your password again. You will also need to fill out the CAPTCHA to prove that the deletion request is not automated. Click the "YES Terminate this Account" button.
• Your account details will be saved by Yahoo! for about 90 days.
• The deletion process is not reversible.

Sign into your Yahoo! email account.
Click on your Yahoo! name at the top of the webpage to access drop-down options.
Select the "Profile" option.
Your account page will open.
Place your cursor over "Account Info" in the toolbar.
Options will again drop down.
Click "Change Password."
Type in your current Yahoo! email password in the first text box.
Enter your new Yahoo! password in the lower two text boxes.
Click "Save."
Your Yahoo! password is now changed.

your Yahoo Messenger account could only be open on 1 terminal at a time. For example, if you are already logged in on your PC and you will also logging in your Nokia6300. In either terminal you will be logged off. This also happens when you are using or browsing Yahoo Mail and will be using Yahoo Messenger at the same time.

Here's how I solve it:
1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account.

my best suggestion is for you to forward all your mail from this account to another account (just create another yahoo account) and make sure spam filters are on the new account while you get yahoo to fix the problem. they will fix it since you have paid a subscription to it. the minimum they should do is forward ur mail for you.

ps don't forget to change the reply-to field to your email address.
