Question about Samsung Computers & Internet

My fairly-new Samsung monitor, Model: S22A350H won't power-up.

    The problem seems to be common with Samsung SA350 and up models. Some people have tried a firmware update that seems to correct the problem. Check using Google for Samsung monitor firmware updates and follow the proceedure indicated.
    First you may want to check and see if the external power adapter is putting out 14VDC.
    I have the same problem with my S22B350H but, there does not seem to be any updates for it.

Are you sure the plug is fully plugged into the monitor? If you still cannot power it up you will have to contact dell as it may have a faulty PSU.

    Hi, thanks for the input. The PSU (power supply unit) works perfectly fine with my other monitor. I did notice that the screen on the faulty monitor did go black a few time in the past when I would tilt or even just move the monitor around. So, I'm thinking the fault is on the monitors side. I think I got the monitor a year and a half to around two years ago (can't find the receipt) but I'm sure that the standard one year warranty is up. Now the aggravating fun can begin with digging into the monitor.. any tips on what to look for and/or suggestions on where to go for that type of do-it-your-self tech?

You can use an HDMI cable, but make sure it is a good one because some of the HDMI connection cables are low grade and work poorly between monitors and computers etc.

My samsung RV511 laptop won't boot and the monitor keep on flashing on and off but the power indicator still ligths on

The monitor keeps flashing on and off? Or does your system keeps trying to reboot which causes the monitor to go on and off. Does the screen turn Blue before it goes off?

Monitor says to check signal cable

get a new power cable for tower/computer. u can call i wat u want. new power cable for computer not moniter. or connection is incorrect. hope it helped.

Samsung T220hd won't turn back on from standby

Power up issues on the T220HD monitor are caused by a failure of the capacitors on the IP-49135b power supply board that this unit uses. The repair is easy, you just need to replace the 7 failed capacitors and the unit should be as good as new. Here is a link to some information showing what needs to be replaced to repair the power supply board.

I can't open my samsung t220 housing

1) Pull the stand out of the bottom of the monitor (it isn't held in with any screws).
2) Remove the two screws now revealed by the removal of the stand. These are the only two screws holding the rear panel on.
3) Slide a couple of old credit cards into the gap between the front and back panels starting from where the base inserts. As you lever the two panels apart, slide the credit cards along the gap to stop them from clipping back together.
4) Insert a flat-head screwdriver into each of the little slots at the bottom of the monitor and start to lever the back panel away from the front bezel.
5) Carefully use the screwdriver to prise the back panel away from the monitor, starting from the gap you created using the first two slots and working your way gradually around the frame. There are tiny clips every three inches or so all the way around. Each one will release with a fairly loud 'pop', but don't be too concerned - if you're careful, you won't do any damage (use just enough force to get it to release, without using so much you smash anything).

The plastic IS fairly soft, so do your best not to damage it - using credit cards between the screwdriver and monitor will help to protect it; but then if you're doing this, I doubt your monitor is under warranty (and you won't see the small scratches and indentations you make anyway, as they're on the back of the monitor).

If you are saying that it powers off in a few seconds you most probably have a bad (internal) power supply.
