What is the minimum infeed pressure required for a RX500 as l have very low pressure. I ask because l live on acreage with tank water and fear my tank pump is not pumping enough pressure

General water pressure to most residential systems on Public water is going to be around 55psi. Pressure Reducing Valves are installed in most systems to regulate the pressure since the distribution lines on most public water systems exceed 100psi. A good pressure to have in your house will be in the range of 55 to 62psi. If you are using a tank for your water you can always install a pressure tank to increase the water pressure. This means you would have a feed line dumping water into the tank from a well or other source then a pump in the tank pushing water to a pressure vessel that will feed the house and will keep the home at a comfortable 55 to 62psi.

Electrolux washing machine w3250n water over flowing

Overflowing where? first thing check drain hose on the drain pipe and gasket. If there's a lot of water inside the tub, then check pressure switch and pressure hose. Pressure hose might have a hole in it. Pressure hose is a small hose about 5/16" inch diameter. Pressure switch controls the water. The air from air dome inside the tub pushes the switch thru the pressure hose to stop the water.

Cabrio wtw6400swo starts washing and when it reaches 33 minutes water runs into the tank and keeps on running until tank almost full when this happens it stops and skips rinse and goes directly to drain

This may sound stupid, but as a tech have done this before, so here goes. Unplug machine first, loosen the 3 screws from the back of control panel, then pull panel forward. Then unplug each plug from computer board and reinstall. Do one at a time. Each plug has a tab it on it so use your finger to push tab back. Plug machine in and see what happens. Check the one mounting screw make it is tight, have found them loose making the board vibrate.

How do pressure tanks such as varem work?

Varem pressure tanks are simple pressure vessels. They have a chamber where the fluid comes in and a bladder that is pressurized on the other end that the fluid pushes against and compresses the air or other gas that is inside the bladder. When the pressure on the fluid line reaches the pressure switch setting, the pump shuts off and the gas pushes the water back out of the tank (if it is being used) until the pressure switch lower limit is reached and the pump kicks back on, pushing fluid back into the tank. This cycle continues until the fluid is no longer being allowed out of the system.

The bladder pressure is set when the system is empty of water and is set to a couple of pounds less than the low pressure cut on setting, that keeps the bladder from pushing all the fluid out of the tank before the pump comes back on resulting in a zero pressure moment which with some pump switches means it shuts down and has to be manually restarted.

Hooked up hose-water line kit.for ice and water in door. Ice maker worked for a while, then stopped. Water never worked well, just drizzled a little when we would push the button. Any Ideas?

Either the pipe for the water supply may be bent stopping the flow on your water pressure is too low. below is taken from manual.. The water pressure should be 2.0~12.5 kgf/cm2 or more to run the automatic icemaker. Checkup your tap water pressure ; if a cup of 180cc is full within 10 seconds, the pressure is OK.

When I turn on the tap, the water does not come right away

Sounds like the pressure tank isn't working right. The pressure tank should have air in it that is compressed by the water, so that when you open the tap, the air pressure should immediately begin pushing the water. Water is virtually incompressible, so you need that air to give you some volume to be compressed. After the air pushes the water for a moment, the pressure drops enough so that the pump kicks in to maintain and restore that pressure. If you don't have such a tank, that's the problem. If you do have such a tank, then it may be full of water and you will have to find a way to fill it with air. Or, perhaps the tank is not piped correctly. I hope you found this helpful. Good luck.

The water pressure pushes the faucet spout out of the faucet assembly. I tried to screw it back in without success.

If you are talking about a kitchen faucet. I would guess that you either have WAY too much water pressure or you are missing the little c-ring clip on your spout. Most are round plastic ring with split on one side. Some are metal. They usualy fit in one of the slots on the end of your spout. Hope this helps.

With the water faucet turned fully on and the power switch on squeeze and hold the trigger for at least 10 seconds to let the water flow push the air out and then it should start up.

Hi, my halstead ace high boiler has started losing pressure and when i top it up to put the heating on after 10 mins the pressure is high whats wrong with it?

Probably a waterlogged expansion tank. The tank provides a springy air cushion for the water to push against as it expands, and the air pushes back as the water contracts. This scheme minimizes the pressure change that would otherwise be caused by expansion and contraction of the water, giving the water somplace to go when it expands. If the air cushion is gone ... big pressure swings.
