Question about Computers & Internet
I don't know if the problem you are having is with one web site or several but if just one web site is affected then you should be able to find your way to the section of the login screen that helps with logging in ... it usually says something like "I can't log in" or "I forgot my password".
Try going through their process for resetting your password. If that doesn't work (the web site itself might be experiencing problems) then your next step is to contact the company support department either through email, chat or phone. They may be able to provide additional insight about current system problems or simply handle the password reset for you.
A few other things to consider ...
A virus might cause a problem with accessing or logging in to a web site. Run a complete system scan if you haven't done so in a while.
If you are running Microsoft Windows, your Hosts file could have been compromised. You'll need to do some research to learn more about the Hosts file. There are plenty of online resources that will teach you everything you need to know ... it is too complex of a subject to cover here.
Try switching temporarily to a different DNS. OpenDNS and Google are two good alternatives to your ISP's DNS.
Did you recently install new software? This could be especially important if it is anti-virus or anti-malware software as they sometimes conflict with network operation. If so try uninstalling the software or doing a Windows Restore to a restore point created at a time before the software was installed.
Temporarily disable your firewall - especially if it is not the default Windows firewall.
Reset your router. I don't mean just power off/on - push the reset button if there is one. Keep in mind that this will also reset the wireless password and the router control menu password so make sure you know how to access the router configuration menu to set those things back up if you do a reset.
