Question about Lenovo Thinkpad T520 15.6in Wxga Led Notebook
This could be due to any number of hardware- and software-related causes, but the one I've run into most often is the internal cable connecting the display to the motherboard: it gets loose and needs to be reseated. I don't believe I've worked on your particular model, but this usually occurs inside the display, the top part of the computer, between the two hinges. unfortunately this generally requires disassembling most of the computer to access, but once you find it, generally a round cable rather than a ribbon cable, because it must fit inside the hinge, simply plug it back snugly into the socket in which it resides. if you choose to test it before you put the computer all back together (as I usually do), be careful that you don't have any parts of the electrical circuit making contact with your body or with any other circuit boards or conductive objects.
