What do the fuse under the hood 2012 jetta do?

don't know what fuse you are referring to. does your condenser fan operate when you have a/c on and vehile idling in park? sound like you may have bad condenser fan if you a/c starts to work when driving at higher speeds because refrigerant is being condensed by ram air flowing through condenser.

2000 acura tl coolant fan after fluid change

New thermostat, installed, saw, new coolant made a little mess filling reservoir, (normal) checked fan fuse for some reason, and condenser fan fuse (xxx ?:), and temp guage, is slightly lower on gauge (than normal?) (disconnected xxxx? quit? a bit? to get to thermosta?.t no dash warning lights have a feeling I popped a relay.

Answer:

ok, you did a coolant service with STAT,

and it failed.

tell us what works right and wrong, symptoms only.

over heating? parked, (fan never comes on)? as it hits 225F?

under heating? ( fan stuck on , up North can cause huge cold engine)

dash gauge stuck low. (thermostat wrong heat range 180f is best. see FSM for spec. on this temp. spec..

Dash guage varies.? oddly (air in system)?

Dash gauge too high.? (Stat put in upside-down or bleed hole (jiggle) not UP side. higher side of mount , trapping air.)

Does something wrong happen only driving?

leaks?

does cap on rad hold 12-14psi pressure, hot.?

if car has fan belts, are they tight? (for sure water pump does)

Carpet on both sides under dash is getting wet from air condition condensation

there is a condensate drain line that must be clogged or , most likely , the hose pulled off the drain tank . look under pass. side dash for a disconnected rubber hose.

I can hear water when I make a right turn butit comes out on back floor

Do you see water dripping under the car when your A/C has been running? I would suspect a clogged condensate drain. The drain lines are usually capped with a rubber device that, lacking a better description, have "lips" that close to keep dirt and bugs out but open to release built up water in the condensate pan. Sometimes these rubber device's "lips" stick together (particularly as they get older) and will not let the water drain.

Look under your dash, probably on the passenger side, and see if you can find the drain line from the evaporator coil. Trace where the drain goes through your floor board. Look under the car for the drain outlet and the rubber cap device. Make sure that it is not clogged.

Water dripping under dash drivers side. Is that the heater core?

Taste it,if it is sweet it is,but if it just taste like water,it is the condensation from ac,the drain needs to be unstopped.

Why when fully charged yet it dose not cool

Lot of reasons for this,The orifice tube can be stopped up,or the condenser is,or the fan is not cooling the condenser,or the compressor is bad,,and,if the temp door in the dash is not opening all the way, this would cause this situation.

Overheating car

This is a fairly common problem. The engine is overheating because the secondary fan is most likely not coming on. Here is a good way to check. With the car in park and the engine idling turn on the air. When the air is on the secondary fan should start. If the fan doesn't start then you have found the problem. The fan relay is usually the problem. You can locate this relay by looking in your owners manual. also check the fuse and the plug at the fan for a loose connection. hope this helps. Good luck.

Leaking water feom car

This is almost certainly water that has condensed from the atmosphere and is dripping from the condenser of your A/C unit. This is totally normal and nothing to be concerned about.
