SOURCE: won't feed nail

This happens to my gun too. You probably need to oil the gun once in a while. Here is how you fix it:
Disconnect the gun from the compressor first don't wanna get hurt or anything like that. There is a pin that shoots the nail out well that pin is jammed so what you have to do is push that pin to the original position. using a flat head screwdriver would help you to push that pin back into place. Let me know how that turns out please. I pretty sure that is the problem with your gun. Make sure you lubricate the Nailer once in a while.

Generally, if your nailer is not leaking air, the orings are probably ok. Remove the head and check for stuck headvalve or stuck driver/piston. Make sure that you can press the headvalve into the head with your thumb and that it returns. If your driver/piston is down when you pull the head, remove the cylinder and check for damage to it or the bumper. Some cylinders have an oring or strip of rubber about med section which acts as a check valve causing the piston to return to top. Check for bent driver or broken tip causing driver to jamb. Use silicone lube to assemble. Enjoy

SOURCE: air nailer won't nail

If youve never done anything to it could be a couple things. Have you kept it oiled (about 6-8 drops) before using and again at lunch if construction type work. Check the nails to make sure they move freely in the magazine Check the nail guage for proper size. and what I would do is fire it till it skips disconnect the air from tool and open the front door (for removing jams) and see the driver position. If it is partially down that would be the problem, check the driver for being bent. Lastly remove all nails and just tap the nose on a piece of wood and again check the driver position, if it moves or falls freely then the tool would have to have new rubber which might be a good idea anyway. Get back to me with the model number and I will research and see if they make an o ring kit.

SOURCE: air blows thru the trigger on both my finish nailer and staple gu

there is an o ring in the trigger valve referred to as a Purple o ring that is probably split. If you can find a air tool center that has them you will save a lot of money versus replacing the trigger valve. Let me know what you are going to do and I will help you with the removal of the valve.

I bought a used Bostitch nail gun. Model/serial # N6408406208021. What parts do I change to go from a 1 1/2 inch nail (approx. #6) to a 3 inch nail (approx. #16)? Where do I get the parts?

I do not think that the n64 will take a 3" nail. N64 will most likely fit a 2 or 2 1/2 inch. To verify the length of nail open latch door and measure the width of the slot into the barrel. Take a look at the bostitch n80 series of nailers for more power and longer nail.

What are the Nail sizes that will fit in this nailer

The N80n will take up to 16p nails. Normally you see this gun using 8p or 12p.

My bostitch bt200 recently will not shoot 2 inch nails, it seems to be to tight inside the holder

I have a bostich that takes only the "ay" nails, the "ax" nails won't fit and I think there is one other size, all wire gauge sizes, the "ay" are the smallest. Check it out.

Wiil a 22 degree Paorter Cable FR350A Round Head

No... it will fire 21-degree nails and perhaps 23-degree nails (but sont think they exist) and it is a full-head framing nailer so it is designed for firing round head nails. Using clipped nails will likely jam the nailer as these nails are stripped closer together with overlapping heads in the nail strip and the FR350A has a full round driver so you will run into issues with clipped nails. If you are having problems finding full round head nails, you can find them on Amazon to fit this nailer. Otherwise any good tool or trade tool store that sells nailers will likely have a suitable nail supply available for the FR350A.

Nail compatibility with Milwaukee framing nailer

any full round head with a 22 degree angle and plastic collated nail between 2 to 3 1/2 inch should work, they don't list any other specific brand but these are the requirements for the tool.

Pulling the trigger, air is released but nailer is not engaged

Try putting a few drops of light machine oil in the air inlet fitting. If this solves the problem, install an inline air lubricator.
