The elements only work if the fan is turned on. And they do not get real hot and the fan does not go full speed why is that?

Bad wiring. I'd guess you are trying to run the elements via the fan! Double check your work. This could be a very dangerous situation if not to you, those near you.

Dacor ERD30 oven trouble

Check if both circuit breakers for the oven are on.
The control board needs only 120V but it should be 240V for the heating elements to function properly.

Check if there is 120V coming to the thermal fuse.

when you get your meter . put the oven on bake and check your power on the bake element if you do not have 240 volts then your control board is bad. if you have 240 volts then you element is bad.

Please don't forget to rate the solution.

Need arc fault breakers for a 127 volt system

If your question is in regards to a standard home panel system with a 120/240 feed the single pole arc fault breaker are rated for that installation. The 120 voltage is nominal and covers a range, usually +- 5%. So your 127 is within range for the 120 volt breaker.

My grill won't light when I turn it on. Have to use a lighter. Also light won't come on even though bulb is new and button lights up when I turn on.

Unlike most other high in gas grills, your Dacor requires 120 volts for everything that's electrical (i.e. ignitors, rotisserie, lights, etc) therefor, there are several connection blocks and transformers that may be causing the problem. The lights, for instance, use a low voltage 12 volt transformer. Nevertheless, before I say, that the transformer or circuit blocks and contact switches are bad, you need to trace all the wiring to make sure all the connections are intact. It won' t be an easy job, but it's one that is necessary. Having a multi-meter circuit tester will be a big benefit, as you can test where the power starts and where it ends and everything in between, .to see where the problem(s) lie.

To help you, I have included a link to Dacor's, Owners Manual page that has your model number listed. The Owners Manual has a schematic for everything electrical, which will be a benefit to you. You can download and print the manual, if you so desire.

Hope this help you solve the problem.

We have a twenty year old electirc jenn-air range with vented cooktop. the oven and range top both stopped working. digital clock only worked when light was turned on. repair man said it was not geting...

The problem may well be a loose NEUTRAL wire to the range. At the wire terminal on the range check for power from each supply leg(L1 to N) and (L2 to N) to neutral(should read 120 volts) and across each power leg (L1 to L2) should read 220 volts.
If you in fact have 220 volts into the range with good neutral contact the problem is a bad neutral(ground) in the wiring harness inside the range.

Electric stove lights work but nothing else

sounds like the range is not getting 240 volts. When it only gets 120 volts lights will work but no heating element will. You need a volt meter and make sure that you have 240 volts across the black and red wires. From black to white and from red to white you should have 120. If you find you have a voltage problem you need to check your fuse box. you could have a fuse out or a circuit breaker can also be bad
