How do you change the batteries in a 3D cell Great Lite flashlight

You just unscrew the cap at the end of the flashlight. You will also find a spare bulb in the cap.

Surprised you would buy one of these when LED flashlights are 5 times brighter and the LED lasts forever. Take a look at this one.

How to open maglite flashlight to change batteries?

At the bottom of the Flashlight where the hole for a keychain ring is, or yours may have already came with the ring attached, although it may seem to be so perfectly welded or casted that thrrs no seam, if you twist the end by the ring attached or can grip it, the end twists off to allow you to switch the AA battery. Hope this helps

How do you change the batteries in the playskool flashlight

Welcome to Fixya.

To change batteries: remove the screw on the tab on the back of the flashlight. With thumb or coin, move the tab up to unsnap the battery holder. Slide out the battery holder and replace 2 C batteries.

Thanks for using Fixya.

I could not unscrew the bottom part to change the battery. Should I use unscrew it by anti clockwise or clockwise only. I even spray WD40 beforehand.

Counter clockwise to get bottom cap off. They're usually pretty tight because cap is steel and tube is aluminum. Grab tube with pliers and try turning cap

Charger lite will not come on! there is power to charger and if you wiggle lite the charge lite will blink but not stay on

It sounds like the battery is completely dead. Try placing it in the freezer for a couple of hours and attempt to charge it. If that doesn't work, you will need to know the make a model of the flashlight it goes in as well as the voltage. If you have to purchase a new battery I would suggest you purchase a Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH). NiMH's have much higher capacity than NiCd's and don't suffer from memory effect.

Unless the bulb is burned out or you are putting the batteries in wrong there is not much that can go wrong with a flashlight.
