SOURCE: Oven Light does not turn off

The problem is due to a faulty door switch, this is part of the door lock mechanism. The reason is that the oven thinks the door is open , this puts on the light and stops some of the oven functions ie the fan the fan element and probably the bottom element.
The answer is to fit a new door lock mechanism.

SOURCE: De Dietrich Oven - Clock tripping back to 00:00 means I cant turn on my oven!

its a fix more than a solution but you can bypass the clock thus allowing the oven to operate again
unplug at the mains and remove the oven from the housing remove the two fastening screws from the metal lid on the top of the oven ,and remove the lid
you will see the timer back panel with 3 wires coming to it, 2 are black (switching line) and 1 is red (Live feed to timer )
If you pull the connectors from the 2 black wires from the timer board and connect the ends together using a connector block, the timer switch becomes inactive and allows the oven functions to operate again.
you will have no timer functions but its a cheap fix and who uses the timer any way
good luck Andy B
ps if anyone has a set of operating manuals for ths oven i would be glad of a copy

SOURCE: De Dietrich oven not working!

I suspect that it is the oven lock that needs replacing. I bought a De Deitrich oven (pyroclean) in Sept 2007. The oven failed to heat in Aug 2009. The oven lock needed replacing which meant the unit had to be removed from the wall. It was replaced under guarantee but failed again in June 2010 and was replaced at a cost of €140 by enginneer. I am very dissappoined in the oven and expected to have no problems with it considering the DeDeitrich name. I would not recommend it to a friend. By the way the clock is easy to use if you follow the instructions exactly. Oven used by two careful owners only.

SOURCE: my KEBS278 superba electric double oven is showing

F1-E1 - EEPROM Checksum Error - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect.
Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock).

De Dietricht Combi Oven DME399. The power is lighting up but nothing on the microwave is working. It is about 10 yrs old?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from the brand 'Combi' to De Dietricht.

If it is the microwave side that has failed, it needs a qualified technician to fix it.

De dietrich range cooker very noisy when oven on?

Have you checked the exhaust fans within the oven? These can make a lot of noise if something has come lose. They should be located at the top of your oven or on the back. I would check that.
Good luck

Hi there, have just moved and my house has a de dietrich oven, model says - tem7rue henri becquer??? we do not know how to operate it properly and wondered if you can help?? regards trudie

These appliances are apparently made by a company based in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), and
the model number info you've given is actually part of an address in French ("7 Rue" = 7th street).

The URL below shows their supported model numbers and "features", which tell you how to use their
ovens - they currently list 11 models - you'll recognize yours by the 11 photos on their web site.

How to get the heating element out of the large oven in a De Dietrich DOD348*

If you mean the element at the back (not the bottom one), inside the oven undo a screw at the back to reveal the element, then undo one more screw attaching the element. THEN, totally disassemble the oven, removing all the cladding, taking off the top oven and controls, detaching lots of wires to be able to do this, in order to finally gain access to the 2 little nuts securing the element behind the oven. Then if you're not sufficiently dismayed by De Dietrich's design skills, email their customer service to be given the wrong part recommendation at twice the price of an independent supplier. Finally, buy part from independent supplier, spend several hours dismantling and rebuilding oven. Then it will work. But maybe don't ever buy De Dietrich (Brandt) again!
