Push in on the door safety switch, and use a screwdriver to help start the fan motor, while it calling for fan-on, if it takeoff and run , youll probably need to changeout the fan motor & capicator!

SOURCE: ruud heater will not light consistently

Your furnace is going into a lockout condition, cycling the power resets the circuit board and it starts over. I will need to know approximate age and model of your furnace, it sounds like you have need to clean the flame sensor rod. However i need to know what i am working with.

SOURCE: furnace blower motor vibration

Check for a loose set screw on the motor shaft for the blower wheel.
Check the blower wheel for a missing balance weight.
Check the blower wheel for a dust buildup in the blades.
Check the blower wheel for a broken fin blade.
Check the blower motor shaft for excessive play.(more than 1/4 inch of play).
Check mounting screws on the blower housing.

SOURCE: furnace ignites properly but blower does not come

be sure the fan on the thremostat is set to auto for the fan to come on, if that does not work force it to manual if it does not work then you have a problem with relay for the fan.

SOURCE: I have an e3eb020h furnace that, when I cut it on,

humming could be a body panel or metal to metal point that came loose and just needs secured in the furnace or ductwork. could be an electrical issue that you may or may not be able to find with the doors off and trying to locate where the hum is coming from. it may go away when a panel is removed because it night be air sucking through a loose section of the door. the question is vague but I would press around while its running to see if it subsides. as always when its running with the panels off electric shock hazard and arc flash can occur causing bodily injury or death that's why they have the door switch which will cause the unit not to work with the door off. you can tape this switch to test the furnace but be very aware it is done on your own and I cant tell you it is ok to do this if you have no knowledge of electricity and its dangers. this is only for you to possibly find a hum and not press around on electrical components.

I have an intertherm furnace model number 901282 and it will not heat my house when i turn on the thermostat it starts but just blows out cold air pleases help

The blower should come on after ignition occurs. When the blower comes on first ignition will not be activated as the thermostat signal shows the heat is on. This happens when the blower relay is stuck in the on condition

Intertherm furnace burner comes on, but blower does not. If I turn thermostat off then back on until it clicks the fan will then come on. It does not do this all of the time, just now and then.

Furnace burner and heat element are not the same. I think the fan time delay, a sensor that turns the fan on when this sensor senses heat, is shot and needs replacing, for a furnace type heat ( gas heat)

Our Goodman furnace just started making a a very loud grinding noise when the furnace turns on. Also the temperature in the house keeps dropping so we have to keep adjusting teh thermostat. Any advice on...

If it makes the noise before the blower comes on it would be the exhaust fan. If it makes the noise when the blower comes on then I would say either the blower motor or bearings to the fan.

The combustion blower is easy to replace. You may be able to prolong the life of the motor by applying lubrication to the shaft bearings. If the motor is too far gone then replacing it is the only option. Just remove the screws that mount the blower case to the heater, disconnect the wires and reverse the steps to install a new motor.

Intertherm model e3eb020h electric furnace won't start just hums

Check fuses. one may be blown, and the other one not, Therefore you are getting only 110V to a 220v circuit.
