Hi MICHAEL. Possible Cause: Unseated Door. If the oven door does not connect with the door light switch, the oven light will stay on. To test, open the oven door and press the door light switch. ... Disconnect the ovenfrom the power and turn off the gas.
Check the breaker pannel or fuse box. The elements work on 220 volts the lights on 120 volts. If this doesn't help repost and well try again
Hope This helps

I have a spectra gas range and the broiler works but the oven doesn't. When I turn the oven on the middle light blinks but oven won't light, what's wrong? Model#348A8035P017
could be a clock fault - try bypassing the auto function on clock. otherwise, check the terminal block where mains is connected. these quite commonly burn out
If everything on your B1691N0GB oven seems to be working, i.e. all the lights are on and fan comes on in fan oven setting, but there is no heat from fan oven, conventional oven or grill, try turning your oven off at the mains, then turn on again. If the temperature display then shows 444, your oven is locked. To unlock, make sure the central control knob is in the "out" position, then press the fan oven and light buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds or so, until 333 appears on the display. Your oven is now unlocked.
The problem is due to a faulty door switch, this is part of the door lock mechanism. The reason is that the oven thinks the door is open , this puts on the light and stops some of the oven functions ie the fan the fan element and probably the bottom element. The answer is to fit a new door lock mechanism.
the door switch contacts are stuck closed causing the oven to stay on.if you can access the door switch try to wd-40 on it.if that doesnt help you need a door switch.
You were right. The locking mechanism switch somehow became jammed and the oven thought the door was locked, even though I could open the door. I didn't know if I was supposed to take the top off and moving the lever back and forth did not help. Finally I turned the oven on and just kind of jiggled the latch in the unlocked position. I kind of moved it back and forth furiously and the cleaning light stopped blinking and the oven light came on. I'm glad it is working now, but I will be manually cleaning my oven from now on! Thanks for your help.
