My GE range is only 10 months old and has rust spots forming on the inside bottom, what causes this? This is also the second GE range to do this in the last 4 years. Are GE ranges known for this?

Rust spots will only occur after the finish is damaged or just simply fail.
This is not common for GE or other manufacturers. But I would not be surprised in the quality of workmanship is slipping for all manufacturers.

SOURCE: JGBP33 BAKE IGNITOR

You did not post a complete model number, but this should help:
Take racks out of oven. Remove two screws at the very back of the oven bottom. Lift back side of bottom up and back a bit to remove oven floor. Remove flame spreader (one nut at center). ignitor is at the back left of burner, most likely a WB2X9154 (round style) ignitor. The entire burner can be removed rather easily at this point if you remove the two screws at the front and disconnect the ignitor wire (if you wish to have easier access to ignitor mounting screws.)

More than likely you have a bad oven ignitor. It's not uncommon that they need repalced, they do go bad.

yes replace the seal, this type of spotting that forms as rust color occurs on "ferritic" stainless steel. Simply put there exists iron in the alloy and the surface needs to be pacified. Use DeBruce Polish to correct the problem. Non-toxic and odor-less containing NO ACID, this TRUE MULTI-SURFACE CLEANER is the best product for stainless steel AND glass/ceramic cook tops. Go to debrucepolish.com, you will be glad you did!

Rust appearing on 10 month old refridgerator doors

How can I put this nicely.
TAKE IT BACK!!!!!! First moisture is forming where it shouldn't, air leak/door gasket not sealing, and second stainless doesn't rust. If rust is forming than it's of poor quality. More iron in it than steel. Isn't there atleast a one year warranty? Don't wait! Till it's too late. Complain NOW!!!

Anything special i should do when taking my g37x sport out of storage after 5 months.car is in heated garage...

Heated or not, condensation in the upper cylinders may have caused some rust to form on the piston rings and other steel parts. These minute rust particles can be highly abrasive and cause damage.

To minimize this, remove the spark plugs and spray into the holes a small amount of high quality motor oil such as Mobil1 5w-30. Do not replace the spark plugs, then with the ignition disabled, crank the engine for 2 seconds, pause for 5 seconds; crank for 3 seconds pause for 5 seconds; and crank for 5 seconds. This will help pre-lubricate surfaces that have become "dry."

Then replace spark plugs and you are ready to go. Keep speeds below 10 mph if tires have developed flat spots, until they are gently warmed up and rounded out. Drive the car for several hours to flush out any pooled contaminant moisture, acid, or particles, Have the oil and filter changed before they can cause any damage.

Note: Removing the spark plugs is an involved procedure. Do a search on "changing spark plugs on g37" to view the steps.

Rust spots on bottom rack

You may need to replace the rack. Dishwasher soap is aggressive and once an area is exposed, it will rust fast. Make sure you don't place sharp objects in direct contact with a rack. The action inside the washer can cause them to move and rub through the metal rack coating.

Rust spots appearing on front of doors of kitchen (indoor) Kenmore refrigerator.

its what we in the business call "refrigerator cancer" they are rusting form the inside out. there is not repairing them and not worth the cost of replacing, you can take them off and spray them you might get a little time outta them. reason it happens is the insulation used years ago was fiberglass and would trap moisture between door and liner, eventually rusting through.. new refrigs are insulated with blown in poly-styrene. they don't hold moisture.

Wasing machine leaves rust spots on clothes.

check the basket of the machine for rust spots on the basket if thats the case the basket should have a 10 year warranty depending on the age marks are either caused from that or the dryer. if its frigidaire the dryer then the front seals probably need to be changed make sure to find out exactly which machine its coming from
