Question about Heating & Cooling
Is this a standing pilot? if so then make sure that the pilot stays lit, if it does not then it needs to be either cleaned, adjusted or replaced.

Majestic DVR36RN: Here's what you need to do: Verify gas line is open. (You said you already have done that). Next turn the switch to pilot (you said you did that too). Make sure wall switch is on also. Now press and hold the pilot switch and hit the ignitor. Once it lights you need to continue to hold the pilot switch for roughly 1 minute. Release the knob and the flame should stay lighted. Now, turn the knob to on. You should be all set now.
