We just spent the last 3 hrs putting our Bowflex Treadclimber TC5300 together only to not be able to start it. We cant get past the screen that says insert e-stop magnet. Of course we inserted the magnet...

HI check the magnet socket is clear and clean , check magnet and wire and clip of any damage . you can try and put a magnet in the socket this should make it start . Don't throw it out , its a great machine I have one love it the works outs are very good not easy . Hope this helps

Where can I get this machine serviced? The gate feels uneven. The left pad almost seems to be hitting ground before the right pad completes its stride.

Bowflex Treadclimber rubs against housing.

Adjustment is needed. Remove rear covers and using a 9/16 wrench lossen the four bolts that secure treadle assembly to base. Place a 3/4 inch piece of plywood or a 3/8 inch socket extension in between the treadles in the front area. with that in place center them about an 1/8 in closer to the right upright as when you tighten the four bolt up the drive belt will place additional pressure and they should center perfect. tighten bolts...tight. remove wedge from between treadles and recalibrate unit. replace covers and enjoy. Use turtle wax on area rubbed to prevent rust.

My bowflex tc5000 will not calibrate

Check the speed sensor and make sure it is no farther than a credit card away from the drive pully. Unplug unit Located...remove left and right rear covers and back cover. 3 screws in each and 4 screws in back. Follow 2 black wires up to drive belt pulley under back of left treadle. slide sensor in with cc between it and the pully. Recalibrate
