If it was a showroom floor model, the store may have disconnected the power cord from the unit [store safety policy] to display it, then the knuckle that sold it to you didn't care to have it prepped for sale.
If it is a brand new and the box wasn't tampered with call HaierAmerica 1-877-337-3639 right away. There is no reason why a NEW unit should be dead. Ask for a free service call to verify the sequencer board works and the power cord is connected properly to it. If it's a floor model call the showroom and demand they fix it. You will have to bring it in if you carried it out but they will fix it in the store usually in a week or less.
If the sequencer board [p/n WD-6290-08] is dead and it's most likey due to Haier's poor quality since they only spot check units after they are boxed and shipped from China to America based on complaints, not the other way around like us factory based companies that check units on the factory floor.

Why the moter of washing machine not running

There could be several different reasons. The first thing that I would do is to make sure that your power out of the outlet is good. This can be tested by unplugging the washer, using an extension cord, and plugging it in to another outlet somewhere else in the house. I would not recommend using the closest outlet as that outlet may be on the same circuit as the current one that your washer is on.

If this does not work then listen to your machine and see if you at least hear the motor spinning. Doing this will indicate that your motor isn't bad but instead it's your belt that is broken.

Also using this same thing by listening to the motor you may hear it trying to spin but there may be something lodged in the gears underneath the machine. Make sure that all of the water is out of the machine, unplug it, and lay it down on its back so that you can see the underneath. Remove the belt and see if you can turn the drum with your hands. You may have an item lodged that is causing the drum not to turn.

Finally the motor itself may actually be bad. In this case the only thing that I can say do is to replace just the motor. You can usually find a motor for your machine just about anywhere they are fairly simple to come by.

MIne Whirlpool duet is having probloms please help me with it!

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
User Control and Display Board If the washer won't start, the user control and display board may be defective. Check for power to the washer first.

Timer If the washer won't start the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.

Line Fuse If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown.

Thermal Fuse If the washer won't start the thermal fuse may have blown. It can be tested for continuity. Watch our fuse testing video for more information.

Line Fuse and Holder If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown, or the line fuse holder might be damaged and need to be replaced.

Main Control Board If the washer won't start the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other parts and causes first.

Door or Lid Latch Assembly If the washer won't start the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer won't start the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Incoming Power Problem If the washer won't start check to see if there is power at the electrical outlet which the washer is plugged into. Plug a lamp or radio into the outlet to check it. If the outlet is dead, check the circuit breakers or fuses for the home.

Power Cord If the washer won't start, check to be sure there is power to the electrical outlet for the home. If that is OK, the power cord itself might be defective. This is rare. You can check the power cord with an Ohm meter for continuity.

Where is the reset button. Our washer won't go on. It has no power at all.Tried the circuit breaker..Machine was here when we bought the house

Thanks for choosing FixYa Karen and welcome. You can unplug the washer for 30 minutes and plug it back up to reset the washer. Make sure the outlet works. Next, check your power cord. Wigglle it while plugged in to see if the power comes on. Inspect the cord first for damage before you do that. If the outlet, breaker, and cord is good, you need to check the fuse to the washer. If it still has no power, you may have a bad control board. Due to the fact there is no power, it is probably electrical. Inspect all wires in the washer for damage. You may need a voltage meter to test for power in the cicuits.

Washer won't turn on at times. It acts like it has no power. Unplugging electric cord from wall socket and reconnecting seems to reset the unit and it functions normally for a while. After an hour or...

Try this first, unplug the unit and connect it to a different outlet and see if it corrects the problem. If it still continues, you will need to replace the control board. Good luck.

My tv won t turn on i just purchased it today i plugged it in and it won t turn on

Check the electrical outlet which the tv is plugged into. Make sure nothing is loose at the outlet as well as on the back of the tv where the power cable plugs in. Another thing to try is plug a different device into that same electrical outlet and see if it turns on. If it doesn't turn on, it could be a faulty electrical outlet. If you've tried both the remote & the power button on the tv, a shot in the dark would be to change the batteries in the remote.
You could always try calling their tech support at 1-800-256-2487. A last resort would be to return the tv from where you purchased it.

First, Check your wii adaptor, In normal conditions the wii adapter provides the output 12volt. You can test the output using multimeter or a 12volt lamp.

then
plug it into the outlet, If the light is still off/flashing, disconnect the AC Adapter unplug from the wall outlet, wait 2 minutes and plug it back into the outlet. Turn the console power ON.

hopefully this help..

Power went off now my washer will not work

First thing to check is for power at the outlet--plug a working lamp in. If no light, find the laundry room breaker in the house electrical panel--push off, then on. Recheck with the light. If ok, try the washer. Hope this helps!

Washing machine causing power failure in whole

Best answer to this is the circuit outlet is connected to is overloaded < to many items are plugged into it > could be 15-20 watt breaker and usage amounts to more than wattage allowence. If you can lighten the load on circuit by removing things < t.v.,appliances,lights,etc.> from the other outlets that are affected < shutting down when breaker trips > then you can compromise and use washer any time. The other suggestion is to dedicate a breaker to washer, < by adding breaker and wiring to outlet for washer >.

Moved Washer and Now no Electrical

Suggestion: You dont need any special outlet. With a tester (you can get this in any electric shop) see if there is power in the outlet. You said it was hot?? It is not supposed to be hot. Try another outlet; & you could unscrew your machine plug to see if all the three wires are okay, ie. well connected, screwed in.
