Difference between multi effects guitar pedal and pedal board?

Assuming I understand you correctly, both setups have their advantages. Multi-effects pedals generally are cheaper than arranging a number of individual pedals, and they'll only need one power supply. However, you'll them be stuck with that one brands version of the fx, and in most cases, the order the effects are in the device. If you do your own pedalboard, you can have various companies fx and line them up as you like. You can buy expensive ones and inexpensive ones and then change them out as your budget and needs change.

Hot drive n boost not working

It's probably just the switch, nothing big, get the new one and you can solder it yourself. Or just let someone who knows do that for you, it's a cheap and fast thing.

I don't know how to put batteries into my "Digital Multi-FX FX600 Behringer" Effects pedal. -_-

Most of these the battery is UNDER the pedal itself. You push in on the hinge pins with a pen to release and remove the pedal and change the battery.

My Behringer fx600 multi effects pedal flashes rapidly when used with a power adaptor. this happens whether the pedal is turned on or not.

The LED is ALSO used as a battery condition indicator... this is probably indicating the battery is expired. The manual sure doesn't say much!

Where should the Zoom G1X go in a pedal chain?

From an electrical engineering standpoint, an expression or volume pedal should be near the end of the chain so that the other effects don't try to process very weak signals when the volume is very low.

This gives better signal to noise ratio.
