Hi,

there should be a little dongle included with the mouse, you attach that to the computer and turn on the mouse and it should connect automatically, or you might have to press and hold the connect button for the dongle and the mouse to connect

but first - connect the dongle to the computer and see what happens

I attached a photo - look for the little piece AKA dongle

hope this helps Hype HY-7005-WMA mouse, how to connect - 1f3fb55f-7777-4a8d-af70-923a4622f5e6.jpg

where is this connect button that I'm supposed to hold? Also, does the dongle have to stay inserted into the computer in order for the mouse to work?

    Well,

  • marvelous_ma May 16, 2014

That Varies, some if not most older version of computer mice.

  • marvelous_ma May 16, 2014

have a Button on the dongle to help "pair" the mouse to the dongle. Not is not that case for the new mice. so some dongles will NOT have a button. And YES, you have to have the dongle in the computer in order for it to work :) thanks

ok...maybe i have a defective mouse b/c once i put the batteries in and turned on, no lights ever flashed. I also inserted the dongle into my laptop and it took about 2-3 min to connect and I still haven't been able to use it. Lastly, I still don't see a connect button on the mouse at all, so I'm not sure if that's the reason why it wont work.

There is no "connect button" on the bottom of the mouse as the instructions state. Everything else seemed so easy and that it would work well if it would just connect.

This may be obvious but make sure to turn on the mouse. There is a small slide switch on the underside up on the right of the product label. I have had trouble "waking up" the mouse once it goes into power saver mode. When that happens I have to turn off the switch twice as in turn off, turn on, turn off and then turn on again to get it to wake up. I hope this helps

How do I get a pairing code for a HYPE Ultra Slim Bluetooth Keyboard?

Pairing code for keyboard is not usually required. The one I have basically has a connect button, then you confirm on the computer. Otherwise the most common pairing code seems to be 0000.

Hype optical mouse model no. HY-7005-WMA 2.4GHz isn't working properly, wont connect to any device. How do I get the adapter signal to read on my laptop?

So you're saying you've tried connecting to other devices to no avail?
Might be worth reading the direction carefully. Sometimes there's a reset/rescan button(small) on the mouse that needs to be engaged after everything is plugged in.

Hype HY-7005-WMA works but I can't assign the buttons, there is no driver for that

The Hype HY-7005-WMA mouse is a very poorly supported product and the buttons on the mouse are preset to only work as set functions and cannot be changed. If the buttons on the mouse do not respond in any way, they may be broken due to poor product quality and you should seek and exchange or return from where you purchased the product from.

How do I connect Marantz AV7005 to Marantz SR9600

Remove the little black jumpers on the 9600 that link the pre amp section to the main amplifier inputs. They are the top row of rca inputs on the back. Using single rca cables from the pre out of the 7005 into the main amplifier of the 9600 connect all the channels you have wired speakers for, L,R,C, SL,SR, etc up to 7. Connect all your sources to the 7005 with whatever cables you have it doesn't matter. Turn off the 9600 volume and use only the 7005 to control the volume. It works perfectly giving an awesome amp a new lease on life. Good luck!

The WMA files are probably copyright protected, and this device was not set up to read them. I would try converting them all ot Mp3 format - you will probably have better luck. Here's the official Harley page that I found:
Here's the best bet - there are pdf instructions for upgrading the software and a few other functions, but no user's manual for it per se:
