No gas to oven and burners, only one burner sparks no matter what knob you turn on

are you turning it after it lights before releasing the knob
pushing it in starts the piezo spark but turning it lets in the gas

That unit is suppose to have electronic quartz igniters. Apparently there's a problem but it doesn't automatically mean the igniter needs to be replaced. If you see a spark from the igniter then it's fine. If you see a spark but no flame then the ignition process is out of synchronization. In other words, the gas hasn't concentrated near the spark enough to ignite. This may be a matter of low gas pressure or the extra length the gas needs to flow to reach the center burner is impeding ignition. Simple fix is turn the knob just enough to start the gas for 2 seconds then continue the turn to click the igniter. or simply use a match. You may also see if there are any adjustments on the gas manifold that will enhance bringing more gas to the center burner quicker. Some unit have one click & that's it, others click the igniter continuously until you release turning the knob. Good luck. you'll figure it out.

Replace the surface spark module

The surface spark module is in the ignition circuit for the gas surface burners. When a surface burner control knob is turned to the "Lite" position, it provides voltage to the spark electrodes on the gas surface burners. Replace the spark igniter switch

The igniter switch is an electrical switch on the stem of the gas surface burner control valve. This switch completes a circuit to the surface burner spark module, causing the burner igniters to spark when the burner switch is turned to the Lite position. Replace the burner igniter switch if the burners don't spark when you turn the burner control knob to the Lite position or if igniters spark constantly even when the burner knobs are in the Off position.

All igniters will spark when you turn on any burner but only the one you have turned on will allow gas through to ignite.

their is one of two things causing that,

1) the switch that supplies power to the spark module when the burner is turned on is bad...its located on the shaft of the burner valve thier is one switch for each knob so counting the oven and the burners their is 5 (the oven is different from the surface burners) to check those switches what needs to be done is remove the knobs then the face panel so ya can get to the knobs.

No is where is gets a bit complcated if ya dont follow all procedures....the knob must turned on to check so gas will be flowing and ya must light the gas using a match or raw gas will eneter the kitchen...or if possible temporarly turn off gas supply to the unit.also POWER MUST BE DISCONNECTED and then with power off and the burner lit manually once turned on ya would need to check each switch to have continuity,if any of the switches does not have continuity when measured with a ohm meter that switch will be bad


2) the igniter is cracked so power is coming from spark module yet since its cracked power is jumping out before it gets the where it lights the burners.

There should be a switch at all the valves. If only one is shorted it will do what you describe.

it is strange that you have no gas and no spark! if you held a match to the burner and turned the burner valve on it would lite di spite a failed ignitor,but for it not to lite, the burner valve[its what the knob attaches too] would have to be blocked[thats rare]or ........i got it .....the knob is broken.thats the only thing the burner valve and the spark ignitor have in common.try a knob from another burner................again.you have spark,because others are working.spark on troubled burner would work if valve blocked at orifice outlet,and if spark failed you would still get gas they work independent of each other,[but in unison].thats why im thinking knob.its the item that works both .when you turn the knob it opens the gas valve and as the gas valve rotates by turning the knob it activates or turns the spark switch so it closes the curcit allowing the electricty to the spark moduel.hey i hope that helps a little. Turning any knob starts the spark via a switch behind each which should disengage when the (any) knob is turn further.
One of your switches is stuck.

I think you should be able to remove the range-top for access and find the offending switch.
It is probably gummy from a spill and is no longer in solid contact with the cam that operates it.

A solvent/lubricant such as WD-40 sprayed on the plunger of the switch once you can see it and operating the knob back and forth should free it up.

It might be wise to turn off the gas supply while tinkering with the range - blow your house away and the range won't matter. :-(
