Hi, McCulloch chain saws have different mixtures depending on whether you use their brand or generic and is also dependent on the model. The three mixes are 32:1, 40:1 or 50:1. If you are unsure, use the 40:1 and watch the smoke, too much smoke use less mix, but don't run with too little. If you see any coming from the exhaust it is too much and can't burn it all. SOURCE: gas/ oil mixture
If it is a riding lawn mower it is probably not a two cycle engine so there would not be a gas oil mixture. It must be a 5 horse power or higher so it would use straight gas. I hope this will help you. donnyb60

GAS-- Use 89 octane r+m over 2 (mid grade or higher) This gasoline known to be good quality. Gasoline may contain up 10 15% MTBE (methyltertiary-butyl ether). Gasohol containig methyl alcohol is not approved.
TWO STROKE OIL-- 50: 1 is usable.
