That means the "Primary Charger" is shorting out. This problem begs for a tech to come out as I can't describe to a layperson how to fix it. You could try this. Go to additional functions, and then select ( I believe it is) Cleaning and Adjustment. Once you have selected this look for "Wire Cleaning". Select it. I can't see the screen in my mind but ....you will need to say yes ....OK......Uh huh... execute.....something like that. This will clean the "wires" which when are very soiled CAN cause this code.

Hello earl,
It's not clear to me whether you are talking about 1 device or 2 different ones, as the E19 code would take precedent over the E65 therefore you would not see the second code. I willa ssume you are indeed talking about 2 different devices. The E19 code means the waste toner bottle is full. On this device the waste toner bottle reaches a volume that the weight of the bottle will trip a sensor/switch and will shut the device down. In order to fix this problem we of course need to empty the bottle. Lets establish a referrence point, that being YOU standing in front of the copier. On the right side, at the rear lower quadrant you will see a small panel about 4 inches wide and about 14 inches tall (about). There are 2 screws that will allow you to remove this panel. It has 2 "feet" at the bottom that will help you re position it when you need to put it back. Remove the panel and pull the waste toner bottle straight out and empty it CAREFULLY to avoid a Hiroshima mess. Re-install the bottle and put the cover back on. Ok, now I work on so many copiers that I am not sure the minimum requirements to reset this code. I believe you need to merely power off the device (main power located on the left side halfway down). But if that doesn't work then we can go into service mode clear the error. If you need to, here's how to go into service mode and clear the error. Press the "ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS" button and release..next press the numbers 2&8 at the same time and release....then press the "ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS " button again. This should be a fluid 3 step process,1-2-3. Once you have succeeded the screen will change. It will say service mode and you will see several tabs. Touch the COPIER tab. The screen again changes and you will see several tabs across the top of the screen along with "clutter" across the main screen. Select the tab at the top that says FUNCTION. New screen again. Now on the main screen select CLEAR . New screen. WARNING! There are alot of things here that you can "clear". Select ERR and then press the OK button at the bottom of the screen. Now power off the copier and you are done. Now, in regards to the E65. That means the "Primary Charger" is shorting out. This problem begs for a tech to come out as I can't describe to a layperson how to fix it. You could try this. Go to additional functions, and then select ( I believe it is) Cleaning and Ajustment. Once you have selected this look for "Wire Cleaning". Select it. I can't see the screen in my mind but ....you will need to say yes ....OK......Uh huh... execute.....something like that. This will clean the "wires" which when are very soiled CAN cause this code. The E19 I got for you, The E65 is a prayer that may be answered. I hope this helps you earl. Take care, and if I helped (I sure as hell tried) let "FIXYA " know please. :-) SPINAL
