Question about Computers & Internet
Was downloading a service pack and on stage3 it froze at 70% and wont run
I know service packs seem to hang..but the are working most of the time.
It takes a long time even on a fresh install sometimes. If the PC has been used lots and has some problems or if it is just slow it may take a very long time like 12 hrs, My advice would be to start it and leave it running until tomorrow. (I'm going to guess it takes less than 1hr) windows is pretty good at straightening these things out. sometimes you need to force a reboot. I know service packs seem to hang also.
let me know if this helps

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
