The thermostat is probably shot. If the fridge is getting too cold and runs all the time. If its an electronic controller, you will need a new board. If its the old rotary knob type, they are a lot cheaper. On the rotary knob type, you can confirm a thermostat fault by disconnecting 1 or the wires to the thermostat and testing with a multimeter. If the circuit stays closed regardless of where the knob is set, that will tell you the thermostat has failed.
