Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

1 Answer

FH Code on my duet. I have also had a SUD problem this week. I checked pump, flow meter and inlet. We recently changed not only our detergent, but also went with a lower cost solar salt. Does anyone think these things could be related? It just seems that the timing of this is just too odd. I am switching back to the old stuff to see if that will change things. Any comments . . .

You should check the pressure switch. Normally, the error code is F25 but sometime is said SUD. You may need to replace it. The another part you should check is the hose connected from dispenser to the drum. Good luck.

SOURCE: whirlpool duet FH code

its possible you have the correct number, but yes the FH is a "no waterdetected" fault, are you sure you rehooked all wires in the rightt location and in the right position(it possible to put a harnes sin the wrong slot or even upside down, the only 2 CCU's out there for this model and of you had the wrong one you would get wrong cycle selections, not anything to do with the intake waster, i would really recheck your connections

Hi

Error code FH appears when No water is detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip is not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If there is no water entering the unit then make sure that the inlet valves are working fine. You may need to check the continuity at the inlet valves. If the valves are fine then check whether inlet water hoses as they might be plugged. Also check for inlet water screen at the valve. However, if the water is entering into the washer then the Drain pump might not be working. Also inspect the Pressure Switch hose whether it is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch. Also check hoses for leak and inspect the flow meter. Hope this helps...
