I used my last attempt and my blackberry was reseting to factory settings but it did not go all the way and my phone now has no software my phone now gets stuck at the blackberry reboot logo i tried everything to get the software back but nothing is working HELP!
You need to download the blackberry desktop manager to a computer you can get it here http://us.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html , after that you need to plug in your blackberry and the program should recognize it, after that go ahead and hit the update option.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)

how to reset the Curve back to factory state (a
complete wipe-out). Please note if you just want to reboot the device,
you only need to take out the battery.
To reset the phone back to factory state:
Go to Options -> Security Options -> General Settings
Press the BlackBerry Menu key and select "Wipe Handheld" and type in "blackberry"

You can find your pin underneath the battery on the phone. Just keep typing in passwords until it tells you to enter "blackberry" then it may make you enter password one more time. It will wipe.
