Open Question

We are trying to install a Maax Aspen 3 piece Shower. According to the instructions, they supply bolts to tie all the pieces together. The problem we are having is that it is being installed in an Alcove Bathroom. There is not enough space to get behind and install the bolts and then get out from behind. There is not enough space to do it on it's side and install. It is a very small bathroom. The only solution that we can do is to install the pieces separately but doing it this way will not be able to bolt together. Do you have any solutions?

All 3 sections are suppose to be bolted together before you install. The problem is that in order to install assembled there would be no room for you to get out from behind it. There is no room to maneouver it. My questions, is can it be installed in sections but also how can you bolt together other than install it in section and secure each section. That is what we are looking at doing.

SOURCE: bathroom stall shower

Most handheld showers use a hose to connect from the existing shower arm down to the hand held option.  Some units come with attachment points on the shower arm, but I believe that you are looking for a unit that has a hook that you can mount where ever is comfortable for you.

you can use a bolt called a molly bolt or a butterfly bolt. tyr to use the biggest bolt you can to fit the hole.and i would not bolt the leg to the floor, just sit the sink on the leg to get proper hight then screw to wall and chaulk the leg to the floor with clear chaulk.

SOURCE: Spartan brand curved glass shower door installation info needed.

curved cut glass will not always be the exact dimensions though they may look identical there should be several set screws on both the door glass frame and the shower glass frame that can be loosened and reset to make the door fit and close and open more properly without seeing the showwer itself i can not tell you exactly where they are but they should be either visible or behind a facade piece of metal frame

I looked at the installation instructions for mediteranean III at this Maax site. It says silicone sealant is to be used. Unsure where you noticed mentioned of siliconized latex.

Sometimes you have to override inadequate instructions with application of some common sense. It might be interesting to know why Maxx thinks the inside track should not be sealed. Also, test for water migration from where it should be to where it shouldn't be

Hi we just bought a maax breeze neo corner shower how do i install the two back walls do you use glue or what?

There will be a nailing flange on the walls of your shower. Typically, drywall screws are used on this flange on the top portion and along outside edges spaced 6-8" apart. Use a high quality tub/shower caulk down the seams.
