I think you need a new alternator. Also check every fuse in depth. Make sure all the connections are in place and secure.

The fan on my 2005 Highlander simply quit working. Could it be the fuse?

Could be fuse,fan itself and a switch called blower motor resistor these go a lot.good luck test fan motor on battery

If you are talking about the blower motor under the dash, a critter could have stored nuts or acorns in the HVAC system.
You may need to take the blower motor out and take a look.

I would check the blower motor resistor pigtail for melted insulation.You may need replace the pigtail going to the resistor or replace the resistor itself,they get pretty hot and could loose its connection.

My ac in my 2005 toyota highlander is not working properly. It will go to cold to really hot air. What is the problem??

Need to check ac system for proper freon level , could be low or over charged. you can get a tester at the parts store, for about 15 bucks. check it on max and fan on hi.

I have a 2002 toyota highlander 2wd limited and the heat/AC fan stopped working. Do you know where the fuse is so i can check it before i take it for service. Or is there a simple solution

fuses are right behind the battery. the lid has a "map" to show you which is which... also there may be a relay in the same fuse box that could be checked
