Name, make ,model???
What is a 'hob?'
If there are fuses, they are located at the bottom, very back.
Are you sure you have a fuse problem?
Oven 'not working' means no heat, correct?
If you have power and the oven is not working, your problem is not the fuse.

SOURCE: i need diagram to wire defy 600s hob and oven ,

Hi Gary The hob connectors have colour coded plug ins. They are starting from right to left the red connector is for the front right plate, the white is for the back right plate, the blue is for the the back left plate and the black is for the front left plate. Now I am not sure of the config in your country but another way to look at this is that The red dot 2000 W (large plate) is connected to the black harness and the red dot 1500 W is connected to the blue harness. The std large plate 1500 W is connected to the white harness and the red harness is for the 1000W small plate. The wiring onto the actual plates should be accrording to the colour codes as follows: The harnesses are all 4 wires and are colour coded blue white ( wiring block 1) , yellow white(block 2), white ( wiring block 3) and the red white block 4. The actual plates are numbered from left to right as 1,2,4,3. But my wiring write up takes it as standard 1 to 4 so do mot worry about the numbers on the plates as some plates have no numbers. Hope this helps.

Hi, 3 of the 4 oven hobs have failed to work on the 720ef. only 1 of them heats up now. when you turn the knob of the failed hobs only 1 out of the 3 makes the click noise but still doesnt heat up,...

Normally the 720ef is the oven, the hob is a separate unit and in my case is a STOVES 600G gas unit. Your unit may have a built on hob but the handbook for the 720ef does not detail this. In my case the hob ID is on the lower right hand side of the unit.
I think you will find that the elements may have failed but you will need to identify the hob to ensure correct replacements. Normally the element rating is on the base of the element. The handbook will tell you how to take the thing to pieces. It is possible that the hob element controls have failed but unlikely for all three or it may be a combination of both parts. I think you may have to contact an electrician to test everything to sort this out.

I have a new Defy hob with the colour connections in 4's, but my oven is an older DEFY and has two rows of 6 connectors... please help. How do I connect a new DEFY hob to an old Defy oven?

I have the same predicament. Did you manage to connect your new hob to your old stove? If so, please let us know how to do it.
Thanks.

MY STOVES COOKER'S OVEN AND GRILL HAS STOPPED WORKING?THE HOB IS WORKING FINE.

The hob is normally totally independent of the oven. What is actually working or not working on the oven? i.e. does the grill still work, is the clock OK and can you set it, or is everything totally dead?

I have replaced a Kelvinator hob with a ceramic hob. It works but the owen is not working. What is the problem?

There are possibly a number of options. It could be that in wiring the hob in you have disturbed the wiring for the oven. Normally the oven works off the main oven control switch on the panel and the hob could be wired into something else.
Is the oven totally dead no power at all for everything, or is the clock running but the oven will not switch on?

just a thought - check the connection block where incoming mains connects to the hob. these quite commonly burn out
