How do you adjust throttle cable on yardman push mower

If there is excess slack in the throttle cable, you can do 1 of 2 things. Either replace the cable, as over time it gets stretched out. Or you can look by the throttle and you should be able to slightly screw out the set screw and take a little slack out and then tighten the screw back up. If there is anything more I can do, let me know. Thanks.
