How to reset a e system computer

hi

what is your pc doing

when you say reset do you mean

restore your pc to a earlier time or it wont boot up?

you can remove the battery from the motherboard and put it back in to reset your computer but you will have to restore the time and date in the bios

to restore your pc to a earlier time you have to start your pc go into control panel then accessories and then system tools and then select the restore option and follow the prompts

if it work start up depending on which windows you have installed you have to put the windows disc in and when it loads select repair, and follow the prompts

cheers

Got vista, system restore wont go back in time,eg other date,,,help???

One of the many problems with windows VISTA is that of the System Restore. No offence to Microsoft, but there are many reasons why VISTA was not a huge success (pardon me Bill Gates). You can (or rather have to) re install windows to solve this. Try windows XP, 7 or 8. They are way better than VISTA.

I need to restore my compter to facotory using system recovery and I don't have the disk. I have a Emachines EL1850G-42W

Hi christoph73030

You have three choices..
1...Try to do a system restore to an earlier date.
This will take your comuter back to an earlier time when it was operating good, pick one of the darkened dates before your troubles started..
To do a restore: Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
2...Buy a restore disk from Emachines
3...Buy and Install a new operating system...
Sorry for the bad news
Please take time to rate me

I am facing window genuine problem.......my PC is again and again restarting.......

If you can restore the PC to an earlier set point , do it by selcting the restor back up and go the set point date.
if this wont help have the OS reinstalled , check your memory for errors.

Acer aspire one notebook wont connect to my wi fi it was fine before

Try system restore.
Go to start - All programs - Accessories - system tools - System restore.

Try to restore your system to an earlier time - time or date when your system is still able to connect to your wi-fi router.

System wants to re start when I turn it on but wont finish restart process

you can run system restore which will bring the computer back to an earlier time lets say few days back with the help of selecting the date in the calender in the system restore tool.
To go into system restore tool click on start select accessories and the system tools and then system restore.
Select restore my computer to an earlier time and click the date in the calender box once highlighted hit next and wait till the process completes once completed it will restart the system automatically and will give you a message your computer was restored successfully in case it says not restored then you can select another Bold date i mean a previous date to retry again.

Dear reader; I bought hunting unlimited 2008, its been playing fine, today I went to play it and I can't seem to get it playing

You may restore you system to a previous date. Choose the date when it was working fine. Just go back a day or 2.

Steps
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System restore>Restore to Earlier date.

When you restore to a particular date. the softwares loaded after that particular date wont be there. So be careful and dont go too far back.

Hope this will help

Regards
Sammy
