Question about D-Link Dlink DI-514 Air Wireless 2.4 GHz Router (A0177337)
I have a mini keyboard - remote control, for use with the android tv smart player box. The light repeatedly flashes or when I press F1 this makes the flashing light disaappear - however, when pressing any other button on the keyboard, the keyboard is not functioning; or, at the same time of pressing any key the same light appear to flashes this reaction is spontaneous of opressing any key that the light flickers - yet throughout all this malfunctioning there is no cursor appearing on the tv screen. The cursor is disappeared altogether and doesnt enable me to function the smart player given the above fault or malfuncton to the mini keyboard . The light flashing or flickeking is the first ornage light from the left. or third light from the right., the lights which appear on the left side of the mini keyboard
Does your question have anything to do with "problems with routers"?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The PC will detect a closed loop within the Network cable so forget that. Sorry but the router is bad if you cannot access it and the reset button does not help.
Have to get another 1

SOURCE: Disable wireless function
Disable SSID Broadcast Please visit http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=1196 for complete FAQ.
Step 1 Open your Internet browser and type the IP address of the router in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. At the login, enter your username (admin) and password (default password is blank).
Step 2 Click on the Advanced tab at the top of the configuration page and then click the Performance button on the left side.
Step 3 At the bottom of the Performance page, click on Disable next to the SSID Broadcast field.
Step 4 Click on Apply. Wait about 15 seconds to allow the router to save the changes and then click on Continue.
I hope that helps!
Good luck and have a nice day!

There is a small hole on the back of the router, hold this for at least 5secs until router resets itself. If problem still persists then it time for a new router. See if you can logg into its settings by going to exployer and typing http://192.168.0.100 it should take u to router loggin..

every time you press the flashing blue button someone you dont know will die and you will receive $1000000 dollars, oh wait that was the plot to a **** movie. It's for hooking up other computers or devices that are wps security enabled.

Chances are you just lost internet connection for a short time. Try restarting the router (unplug from power, and plug back in). If this doesn't work, and you still only have the 1 blue light on, it might be dead. If it has some of the other lights on, but you can't get on the internet, it means your internet connection is down and you will have to wait for it to come back up.
Hope this helps.
