SOURCE: refrigerator door warped? condensation inside

pull the door seal back and look behind it. if you see 1/4 inch screws every 6-8 inches then you can re-straighten the door.

  • take the door off of the refrigerator and remove the handles
  • lay it down on a flat surface, like a large table or hard floor (not carpet)
  • loosen (dont take out) all of those screws behind the door seal. this should relax the metal part of the door so you can twist it and make it flat against the floor.
  • once it is completely flat on the floor on all corners then tighten all the screws, starting with the center of each side and work towards the corners.
  • when you reinstall the door make sure you line up the door correctly before tightening the hinge bolts.

Try looking at the site below for parts, you need to double check your model#, because this

The company that made your refridg, says the model # does not match anything.

SOURCE: condensation on the strip between the 2 french doors

We just bought a Kenmoe Elite french door fridge. Condensations was also accumulating between the french doors and dripping onto the freezer door. There is a heater in the "flapper" between the doors which was not working. I was told that the heat will keep condensation from forming. They fixed the heater and there's no condensation. My question is: why is condensation forming in the first place? Is it due to poorly sealing gaskets and loss of cold air from the fridge?

I have heavy condensation daily inside on my windows in the morning. What causes this? How can I fix it?

It is caused by water vapour in humid warmer air inside the vehicle condensing on the very cold windscreen. As long as the interior glass surface is much colder than the inside air it contacts you will get condensation forming on the inside surface.

2. If you equalise the temperature of the air inside the vehicle with the outside temp for 5 minutes before locking up your car you will minimise condensation, as will garaging it. If you drive around with the heater on full on a freezing cold day, stop the car and lock it up exposed, you are going to get condensation, especially if you have used the recirc control to block the outside air from entering the climate control system in the cabin while driving.

3. If you are having this condensation issue set the air controls on the car (before you turn it off and park it) so that outside air can flow in through the cabin venting system. When you drive around constantly with just interior air circulation and no outside air entering you are going to get a build up of humidity.

Condensation inside refrigerator

check the doors to make sure that they are level and that there are no spaces in between the gasket and the body of the machine. Also check the door seals themselves. Your getting condensation because you have warm air getting in somehow and clashing with the freezer air and causing the water to form inside

Sounds like you need to call them back, they should warranty their work. Make them do it until ti is right. Make him show you it doesnt steam up before he leaves. OR Dont pay them and dont sign off that it is fixed.

Door glass is lose and seal is leaking..moisture is forming on inside of glass

That is normally caused by the clear plastic adhesive cover either having been removed or missing. It covers the perforated door inner and stops condensation and food particles from getting inside the door cavity where is cannot be cleaned.

Cleaning Inside Glass Oven Door of KitchenAid KEMC308KSSO

To dismantle the kitchenaid pro line oven door: there is a lever over the hinges that attach a door to the oven. The lever is right on top of the hinge. Pull the lever up. When that lever is in the up position, you can pull the door out.

Jenn air double ovens

First, with the door closed, find the screws at the bottom of the door and remove. With an assistant, open the door and remove any side and inside screws you find. The door will separate into two halves. Be aware that most glass is not clipped in...they can fall and break. Remove the front panel from the door...the door may try to slam shut. To clean the glass, use a blue cleaner and a scrubby or very fine steel wool rubbing gently. Scratches are not allowed! Take pictures of what you're doing so you can replace. Be careful of brittle door insulation.
