Cell Phone Drops Calls, Turns Off Unexpectedly

My Nokia N95 keeps dropping calls more and more. Yesterday it turned off while making a call.

  • sflow15 Apr 25, 2009

The battery is fine (it is relatively new. The phone holds a charge perfectly and the phone's signal and battery are usually both peaked out at full-power when this happens. I had the rare chance to see the signal bar when a call was dropped, and it completely went to zero signal and back to full bars in a second's time. I think I will try the battery though (just to make sure).

reheated or resolder. these two hardwares brought you signal.the
antenna switch the one the that will pick up the signal.while the P.A.
is the one to process the signal to the audio. either of the two that

HTC Touch -- Drops Connection to cell tower

I find the HTC touch drops many more calls than other phones I've had. Just doesn't seem to be able to hold a weak signal very well. On my way home from work, I had 2 places where I dropped calls. When I got the HTC Touch, I now have about 4 or 5 places where I lose calls. One additional place is sitting at my desk at work. Very frustrating!

Nokia N95 calls by itself

Try hard formatting your phone. Turn it off. Then hold the following keys WHILE it's turning back on: (3 + * + green call key). Don't let go till it asks you about your location. Be aware that it will delete everything saved in your phone memory. If not it could be that your key membrane is sticky. You could have it opened and cleaned by a professional Try the first solution first. Let me know how it goes. :)
