SOURCE: sub+amp configuration
With a single 4-ohm subwoofer, usually the best choice is a 2-channel amp that can be bridged to a single channel. In your case, the sub is rated for 1000 watts. Not many amps are rated for that kind of continuous power into a 4-ohm load. Kicker doesn't list a minimum power rating, which isn't unusual in subwoofer specs. Depending on your budget, I'd look for an amp rated for 300-500 watts minimum; the higher, the better, up to 1000 watts. Most amps will have several power ratings, based on the load impedance and number of channels driven. A typical 2-channel amp might be rated like this: 150 watts x 2 channels at 4 ohms 300 watts x 2 channels at 2 ohms 500 watts x 1 channel at 4 ohms. The power rating you'll want to look at will be the 1-channel, 4-ohm rating. You can look at mono amps, too, but in the power ranges you're looking for, a 2-channel amp will probably give you the best value. However, if you can find a mono amp with a high enough 4-ohm power rating, it would run cooler and might last longer than a 2-channel amp with comparable power. When looking at mono amps, you'll find their highest power output will be at 2 ohms or 1 ohm; make sure you're checking the 4-ohm rating when making comparisons. SOURCE: L7 wiring options
yes it should work fine i would bridge them up to 4 ohms each speaker then bridge them back bye conectin them on the amp by puting the red with the red and puting the black with the black if the amp only has 1 chanel then put both speakers red on the same positive on the amp and same with the negative now to bring the ohms up to 4 ohms conect the solid red to the black with dot with a short wire ok then the ones that are not run together will go to the amp giving offf 4 ohms and with the 2 speakers bridged together thay will reduce to 2 ohms witch means that eatch speaker will get about 600 wats of rms from the amp

you should use an amp with approx half the power of the speakers max output (i.e 1000 watt speaker use no more than 600 watt amp)

SOURCE: does two 1ohm woofer = 2 ohm
if you buy the 4 ohm subs you can drop each of them to 2 ohm and then down to 1 ohm between the two of them. going with the 2 ohm no matter how you wire them you will either get 2 ohms 4 ohms or 8 ohms. hope this helps by the way the 4 ohm solobaric and the 2 ohm are both the same price.

it all depends on the impendance of your subs if u have duel 4ohm or duel 2ohm, 2 duel 4ohm speakers can be wired at 1ohm to the amp, and with a kx1200.1 that would be pushin 2400 peak and 1200rms
if ya have 2 duel 2ohm speaker than you can only wire them to 2ohm and would be pushing 1200 peak and 600 rms with the kx1200, so if you have the duel 4ohm i would go with the kx1200.1 and if u have the duel 2ohm i would go with the hifoncs
