Coin battery for Cartier Argent 925

If your watch is a genuine Cartier, then you don't need to ask what battery it takes - you risk damaging the watch (at least cosmetically) and therefore devaluing it if you attempt to change the battery yourself. Take it to a professional, or reputable outlet to have them change the battery for you (ask them the battery type afterwards if you really want to know).

HI I wont to know battery size to my watch must de cartier serial # 901014991

Not a good idea. What starts as a 'simple battery change' could result in $500 in repairs. It is a Cartier! If it is a fake Cartier then by all means destroy it. Just realize that you don't really know what you are doing and you are about to perform brain surgery on a very expensive watch.

I appreciate your line of thought concerning the problem of your watch.

like you rightly mentioned before, it could be a battery prob;em which is usually the commonest for this error. so please change the batteries first then if the problem persist a simple service of the watch should solve the entire problem.

all the best

My cartie santos galbee stops every so often. It has just had a battery replaced after being left unused for a year or two - any thought

According to their web site, this model has an automatic mechanical movement and therefore has no battery!

Is the number you quoted correct?

If you go to their web site or and look up your model (it is the last one in the group - go to the furthest right) and them click on details for that model, you will see a description of the watch.

If it is this model, (it will have "automatic" on the face), then it will only run for 2-3 days before stopping. To start it shake it gently from side to side for a few minutes.

Your replacement battery is therefore very puzzling!

I haven't wear my cartier for a couple of days and is nor working i wear it for a few hours but still not working what should i do?

Hi , your Cartier is a quartz movement watch and does not need to be winded or worn in order to work. It does though need a battery. This sounds like your battery has died and needs to be replaced. Any jewelery or watch repair store will be able to change it out from the price of 8 -20 dollars please only go to an experienced jeweler though.

I left the battery to long on my Cartier Santos and it no longer works. A jeweler sent it out and he says that it will cost $600. to clean up. He also says that the movement itself was not damaged, so it...

Most likely he sent it to Cartier. They charge about $400 to replace a battery. So the jeweler is marking that price up to you. If there is nothing wrong with the movement a new battery installed by a qualified watchmaker is much less.

Hope this helps,
