How to reset anti theft system on 2006 Chrysler 300. No sound when starting engine. Engine doesnt crank.

This may be accompanied with the power door locks not working also. You may be able to reset it by pulling the fuses in the underhood fuse relay center. The fuse or fuses that may reset the system are sitting in special holders in the relay center that have little clips on the side. They will look different from the other fuses as they have their own little holders. Pull them up and reseat them. Hope this helps

Radio Fuse is good, how ever radio wont turn on, what other than fuse could be my problem?

I show two fuses in the power distribution center (in the trunk?). The fuses are 36 and 40. There could have been a spontaneous failure of the power switch, i.e., it works mechanically but does not turn on power.

What would cause power steering fluid turn milky in 2000 chrysler 300?

The power steering is a sealed system. No way coolant could get in there. It might be contaminated by moisture from the air though. So you could suction it out (a turkey baster works great), and replace with clean fluid.
Wasw the engine overheating from low coolant level? Hopefully, thats all it was. Keep it full!

I recently got a 2003 chrysler 300 and i am having issues finding the fuse box that is in the car. i have found the one under the hood however have had no luck locating the one that is normally on the...

Hi Jenn. Well you are correct, there isn't a fuse box inside the passenger compartment of your vehicle. there is he power distribution box like you foumd under the hood. Chrysler got tricky and put the other fuse box/ power distribution center in the trunk of the vehicle by the spar tire (see picture below). If you would like an owners manual for your vehicle you can email me at with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy of it. Don't worry no cost to you. The manual will identify what each fuse goes to for you as and maintainence stuff for you so just drop me an email if you want it. I hope this helps you and good luck. Here's your picture:

Advice on purchasing a 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited with 98000 miles

Hello scottym88...The chrysler 300 engine is the weak point on this vehicle, the 2.7 litre was a major headache for owners, dealers and Chrysler...the problem was due to engine sludge, poor oil circulation, poor crankcase ventilation, faulty timing chain tensioners...etc...From 1998-2004 the Chrysler 2.7L was prone to Oil Sludge often caused by internal coolant leakage that has to do with the design of the Water Pump that allows coolant to enter the Engine over time and causes oil sludge...result..ENGINE FAILURE. For 2005, changes included improvements to the PCV system and improved oil circulation, to even later increasing oil capacity by an extra quart in an attempt to make the engine more reliable... Unfortunately, even with all of these modifications premature engine failure is common. I've seen this first hand...and the really sad part is CHRYSLER knows...yet refuses to cover prematurely failed engines even when under its own 3 Year / 36,000 mile warranty while blaming consumers for these problems.
If you want to research this further, check out the consumer complaints on this vehicle and/or the 2.7 litre engine. I have been a MOPAR enthusiast all my life, and in my opinion this was the worst engine that chrysler ever released to the public.
Good luck...i hope this helps answer your question..please rate me a fixya.
