Question about Brother Sewing Machine PE500 Embroidery Machine
I have a Brother PE500 and have had several custom pictures digitized to pes format and was able to embroider them without any difficulty. I recently sent a photo to be digitized to 2 different digitizers and I keep getting nothing on the LED screen. With every other item that I transfer from my computer to the machine, it shows up on the LED screen or it says transmitting. With this picture( actually a logo), it does nothing. The only thing that I notice, is at the top where it shows how much space is available, the size of the new item (144kb) shows up like this: 144/476KB But there is no picture there, and the amount of saved items is still blank. Do I need to have the logo digitized smaller than 4" x4"? It's for the left side if a T-shirt.

Try making it smaller, the only time my machine dose that it is one of 3 problems 1 I sent the wrong file type to that machine , 2 its to big , 3 it's a bad pattern. If changing the size doesn't fix it contact your digitizer and have them resend , the file may have a problem.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

No it is not possible. If you invent a hoop to do this you will become richer than Bill Gates. When you want to do embroidery on a pocket, you have to remove the pocket first, do the embroidery and stitch the pocketback onto the shirt.
Sad but true.

You are more then likely downloading too larger images for the hoop chosen,or the machine does not take a large image try with a 100x100 image and see if it works,if the images come out ok then the problem is what I suggested, the problem would not be with your card, as the old card and the new card works on all brother machines,

Use cut away stabilizer and if you are already doing this, double the layer.
The needles may be breaking because they are too small or not installed correctly.
Try a size 14 machine embroidery needle and check the manual to see if this is with the flat side of the needle to the back of the machine.
One other thing could be that the timing needs to be adjusted. You can find information on how to set the timing at sewusa.com or take the machine to a professional for service - always take an example when the machine has been mis-stitching.
