Question about HP PAVILION DV4000 AND V4000 SERIES (FF)MOTHERBOARD - 403895-001 CD-ROM Drive
Hi Everyone , After trying to solve the start up problem of my laptop hp pavilion zt1130, XP Pro as operating system, which does not want to start since more than 3 weeks, I turn to this forum to find a solution allowing me to resolve this problem. The problem is that when I put my laptop on and put the hard Drive as the first boot option, the following message appears: 1133 MHz Mobile Celeron CPU Intel Processor Update Rev 01Dh Complete External Cache: 256k installed When I put the CD-ROM as the first boot option and try to boot to the XP Pro installation cd, the following message appears: Not bootable CD- ROM When I put Internal LAN as first boot option, the following message appears: Realtek RTL8139 (A / B / C) / RTL8130 Boot Agent Intel UNIDI, PXE -2.0 (build 082) Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation For Realtek RTL8139 (A / B / C) / RTL8130 PCI Fast Ethernet Controller v2.11b () (010315 ) PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable PXE -MOF: Existing PXE ROM Therefore, I do not know what to do to restart the PC normally. Thank you in advance for all your help and suggestions.

After this reply you will still not be able to start normally.
The boot to lan is trying to start off an image stored on a server, you normally only see this at a business.
Boot to CD is looking for a bootable CD like the disk used to install Windows.
Boot to hard drive is normal but from your post it appears that it cannot communicate with your hard drive. Normally, when you have hard drives issues, the file is corrupt and at this point the computer complains but is sounds like it just freezes which suggests to me that the controller is gone.
In short, in order to get this working you will probably have to buy a new hard drive and reinstall Windows from CD. Since the version of Windows you have is XP (if you have the disk) and support for it ended almost 3 years ago, you are probably better off just getting a new laptop. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsforbusiness/end-of-xp-support

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: System failure to boot
Check you hard disk drive and make sure it is connected correctly. Is there a new hard drive in the device? If so you will need to install windows onto it. Otherwise as Ekse has said run the recovery console from your windows cd.
