Question about SanDisk Sansa e200 MP3 Player

SanDisk i have a SanDosk 4GB.first i downloaded a few songs a few weeks ago I was listening to them on the day i downloaded on my SanDisk. The next day they were all deleted! so i download them again but it was already in. Second when i downloaded a new album on it only have 2 bands of mine the full albums the rest won't play or only 3 or 4 songs will play .Third when i download more than one album on it it will freeze. when that happens & i disconnect it it'll take 30 mins for it to realize it was disconnected & ill have to wait for it to drane its battery to download again.

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.

Micro sd restarts my phone when i try to listen to music


i recommnd u to chck yr m.SD card for viruses.. they get infectd fast...Check yr whole phone for viruses and after healn them try loading the files again to yr m card

Try to listen to songs on my Mp3 player (sansa c240) it no wrk


You have to connect the mp3 player to the computer and refresh your device through Bearshare - their songs have fixed licenses, which require you to refresh every 30 days or less.

Sandisk keeps skipping/freezing songs!


Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Removing bad tracks


I beleive your player saves a lists as well as the song itself. the easiest way to fix it is to (if possible) use windows explorer, goto your player and look for a folder that says "albums" or "list", scroll thru and delete the folder of the songs that you have deleted.

Mp3 player wont play songs or anything


Only 2 suggestions here: 1) Make sure your HOLD switch is not enabled. 2) Try to update the firmware If neither of these work, time to send the unit back to Sandisk

u have to wait till the screen will be black. I had the same problem with my sansa. it can lasts 1 or 2 days. after screen is black and then do following: 2. change lock switch to orange position 3. Press and hold rec button (at left side) 4. while pressing the rec button, turn the player on 5. it will appear the boot menu. connect the USB cable and try to continue the firmware 6. if it doesn't work, do a firmware downgrade. download this file: http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe 7. execute the application while in boot mode good luck darek
