All Screen elements lit

Came home to everything on my oven screen lit up. No beeping, buttons do nothing, powering off and back on does noting. Range top still works.

Remove power from board by unplugging the wire harnesses and replacing than again. See what happens.
Sounds like the board is locked out some how..possibly there was a power surge/failure during your absence.
Can only guess at this time.

SOURCE: Electric Oven not getting hot enough

Sir, I think the top oelement is for broiling ONLY. It should not turn on when baking. The clicking may be the oven heating up.
How far apart were the oven temp instrument and the digital?
Don't expect them to match...they are inaccurate.

1. Heat water until it boils. Place digital therm in boiling water until it comes up to 212deg. If it is not at 212 in boiling water, record the error.(this gives a rough calibration to the digital)
2 Turn on oven, set to 350 deg, place digital therm on rack. Wait until oven reaches 350 (on stove) and read the digital. Note the difference between the two

SOURCE: Oven not working

Sounds very much like the thermostat has failed and needs replacing.

A job for a qualified engineer I'm afraid.

SOURCE: F2 appeared on the screen during self-cleaning

F2-During BAKE
Control senses oven temperature above 615F-630F
If actual over temperature condition occurred: Look for welded relay contacts on bake or broil relays. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).

If no over temperature condition occurred: Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit , not actual oven temperature.

F2-During CLEAN
Control senses oven temperature above 915F-930F
If actual over temperature condition occurred: Look for welded relay contacts.

Check door lock switches.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit , not actual oven temperature.

Error message E6 F2

From investigation, I would open the control panel (make sure the power is turned off first!) Look for a ribbon cable that goes to the Touch Pad and Control pad module. It should be able to be removed from the control board. Pull out the ribbon cable, and put the ribbon cable back into the connector. Be careful with the cable as they can be broken easily. Once you have everything back together, turn the power back on and test the pad. If it still doesn't work, the control board may be bad.

When I pushed the bake oven button on, I heard a loud pop! I thought a light bulb above my range (microwave oven bulb) blew out. Then F1 came on the range screen. We turned off the power to the range...

Hello,

The F1 error code means one of two thing;either the touchpad is bad or a relay on the conrtol has shorted out. Well the loud pop and the F1,their is not doubt that a relay on the control has indeed shorted out. The fix for that is to replace teh control
PLEASE NOTE A SHORTED RELAY WILL MAKE THE HEAT ELEMENT TO STAY ON AT ALL TIMES AND THE BREAKER MUST BE LEFT TURNED OFF AT ALL TIMES UNTIL THE CONTROL HAS BEEN REPLACED OR IF LEFT ON THEIR WILL BE A VERY VERY GOOD CHANCE OF THE OVEN/HOUSE CATCHING FIRE

Oven wont heat up, F-1 on timer

This indicates the ERC Electronic Range Control has failed. First check the key pad. Press each button one at a time. You should feel or hear a click and feel the retraction. If any button is not working the problem is likely in the key pad. If you locate the tech sheet ( somewhere on the stove, usually in the control panel) it may have a ohm check that can be done on the key pad to rule out the key pad. Here is a simple test that you can do to determine whether the clock or the touchpad are defective when the display reads F1:

- Disconnect power to the range.
- Gain access to the back of the ERC (electronic range control, or "clock").
- Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire about 1 ½" to 2" wide.
- Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on. Replace any covers removed to gain access to the ERC.
- Turn the power back on to the range.
- Watch for the F-1 and listen for the beep.
- If you get the F-1 and beep, replace the ERC.
- If after approximately 60 Minutes you do not get the F-1 fault, replace the touch pad.

NOTE: Some models incorporate the touch pad and the clock control as one part so F1 = bad clock control(ERC). If all seems good the control is at fault. Check to see if you have power going into the control. If you do and nothing is working the control board or ERC needs to be replaced. Here is a link for checking and replacing an oven control. If you need diagrams and illustrations of your specific model enter your model their. All parts come with installation instructions.

When laptop swiched on,the note book will on but its screen will showing blackned'pl advice me.

this might be a lcd panel problem or video/mobo problem. first try this. kust leave laptop off. make sure ac adapter is plugged in. now press and hold on the Fn key while the laptop is off then press power button. When the laptops startsup then still nothing on the screen just wait for 3 mins then try to check if you will be hearing beeps. if you heard multiple beeps and still nothing on the screen have you lcd panel, lcd cable and inverter replaced.

but if there are no beeps. check the lock leds (num, caps, scroll) check the status which one is lit on. this will help us identify if it is hardware or which hardware.

If it has 120 volts to the EOC, with a good line and nuetral, and it won't show the clock or turn the oven on it has to be replaced. Frigidaire doesn't offer repair parts for the EOC.

Oven will not work unless range is lit

You probably have a neutral return that is open. By turning on the stove top you are completing the path of return for the bake element. Work back from the element (unplug the oven first!!!) and check continuity back to the plug. Again, make sure you unplug the darn thing from the AC outlet!

Good luck!
