SOURCE: pressure washer lost pressure in the middle of a job

The pressure valve has stuck in the high pressure position. This prevents anymore inflow and hence no further water will be pumped.

Rebuild the valve... There are O Rings to replace and clean the bore with croocus cloth. Lube the O rings with plumber's grease... good as new! 15 minute job. Get EXACT sized O rings for the unit.

SOURCE: Why want my pressure washer suction the solution

The first problem might be that you are trying to use the wrong nozzle, see this link to read more about what nozzle to use for detergents

If you still have an issue the problem is going to be in the chemical valve on the pump, there are two different styles they have on this type of machine, look at the links below on directions on how to repair your chemical valve.

I am cleaning concrete side walk. Is it OK to use bleach, full strength in my power washer?

Short answer: NO! Bleach is an extremely harsh chemical and can break down rubber gaskets and all kinds of other materials which make up the inside of your pressure washer. If you want your machine to keep working properly, do not put full strength bleach into it. Also, using that amount of bleach and letting it run into the ground is extremely bad for the environment.

How to kill poison ivy, sumaca, poison plants outside your house?

Ortho Brush-B-Gone is quite effective, but it may harm other nearby plants, so take proper care. Make sure you follow the instructions on the container, and wear protective clothing. Do not apply on windy days, and it's best to check the weather forecast to make sure rain doesn't wash it off before 24 hours has passed. Once the plants are dead, again put on protective clothing, eye protection, and a heavy dust mask over your nose and mouth, so you won't become affected by the toxicity of the plants. Remove the plants and place in a large plastic bag. (do not burn them, it will spread the poisons through the air) Then dispose of them in a proper manner. When you're done, remove your protective clothing OUTSIDE, so you don't transfer the toxins to your furniture or carpeting in the house.

Extensive smoke

Is this a karcher hds unit?

There is a device by the air intake that looks like a semi-circle. This adjusts the air flow to the burner chamber. You can adjust this according in order to get rid of the smoke but you have to get it right in order not to have to much air in order to blow out the flame.

If this does not work you may have to clean out the fuel injector and housing. Then if it continues you may have to clean the exterior of the coil.

If you are to clean the exterior of the coil make sure you take the cover off from the bottom three bolts (bolt on to base of machine) and not the three bolts at the top of the housing(were fuel injector is). You can use a karcher product called RM 81 which acts as a degreaser and pressure wash the coil( making sure all electrics are covered up).

I have come accross this a few times as the injector sprays diesel on the coil if the air flow is not fixed correctly and then the smoke you are seeing is the machine burning off the diesel that is on the coil.

What kinds of non-harmful chemicals that can be found at the supermarket or hardware i can use to clean my hvac evaporator coils?

If you're asking about cleaning the coils, only. There is a product that is designed to do this. It's prayed on, allowed to soak a fem minutes ad is hosed off at high pressure. You can find it at most home centers and hardware stores. If you just going to clean the exterior and non critical areas of the unit, Simply Green is good for that and more. It's biodegradable and won't even harm house plants. It has 101 uses either full strength in a spray bottle or diluted for other uses.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Washer is leaking from the front when its filling

If machine is leaking only while filling then remove soap drawer and clean this out, also clean inside drawer housing, refit and test. If you still have this problem your water pressure may be to high. Just turn the tap where your hoses are connected so your pressure is reduced. If problem is still present then you will need to remove top from machine and check pipe under soap box. Then be very careful but while top is removed just fill machine and see if any leak is visable. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT TOUCH ANY WIRES, AND NO CHILDREN ARE NEAR YOU.as many people forget that electricity has no fear of killing people.

I bought two of these washers and they both have this problem. The worry is not only the horrible smell but the fact that these washers are not killing germs but rather creating bateria and mold.

have teck come and clean out filter, mold, etc behind seal, then clean about 1 time a month by running wash cycle with hot water, no clothes and 1 cup bleach, always leave door open til washer drys, careful if small children or pets are in the house they may climb in

Samsung washer

When error message 4E is displayed, you should clean the water hose mesh filter. To do this:

1. Turn off the water source to the washing machine.
2. Unscrew the hose from the back of the washing machine.
3. With a pair of pliers, gently pull out the mesh filter from the end of the hose and rinse it under water until clean. Also clean the inside and outside of the threaded connector.
4. Push the filter back into place.
5. Screw the hose back onto the washing machine.
6. Turn on the faucet and make sure the connections are watertight.

Also, please check the following:
• Make sure the source water faucet is turned on.
• Check the water pressure.

Rotton egg smell

The smell is simply residual biological washing powder doing its job and eating away at the mess and muck in the tube (along with the smell of rotting bits of lint and other rubbish. Dragging the garden hose into the house and flushing the pipes out with some clean water under pressure may help. Also, you may find thattitting the machine on its hottest wash, with about 4 dishwasher tablets in it may also help. Dishwasher tablets have detergent and anti-bacterial agents in them that kill the bacteria that is in biological washing powder.
