How can i change the ringing tone of my iphone? can i get music from it's ipod?

You can use the ringtones stored in Settings > Sounds > Ringtones. Otherwise, you can purchase custom ringtones from the iTunes Store application. You can also try using 3rd party applications that are named ringtone makers and try to use music in your iPod application. You cannot set songs in iPod as ringtones directly.

Unable to load a mp3 ringtone on my Omnia

You should have a USB cable that comes with the phone n the driver for your files transfer from PC to Phone [I hope you got that CD too]. Now first of all install that driver from the CD...when it asks connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable. Open up the File Manager,My Music or you can create a new folder n name it Ringtones n start is very easy once u start doing it. Another method do that via Bluetooth option...take ringtones or songs from somebody's phone. Let me know if there's any prob.

I have a Samsung Rant, received ringtones via bluetooth

I've never received ringtones via bluetooth, but I do know Samsung made it ridiculously hard to customize your ringtones on the Rant. The only way I know of to do it, other than going online on the phone and downloading ringtones there, is to use a site like Myxer to send the songs you want directly to your phone.

Get ringtones from my computer

In order to do a music transfer from your computer the only way is either with bluetooth if your computer is capable or with a usb port compatible with your phone. You can always go to sites like or and probably find the songs there for free as well.

Setting ringtone.

hey. I hope I can be some of help, as I used to have the same phone as you and I always added music from my computer to use as ringtones. For starters, make sure the song you want to use is 192 kps or lower, and is in the mp3 format. I usually downloaded my songs via limewire; however, as long as you have the song(s) you want in a separate folder(like your music folder) in your computer documents - it makes for easy transfer from your computer to your cell. Now onto the transferring....

What you want to do is have the usb cable that came with the phone plugged into a usb port on your computer, then plugged into your phone. A little icon will appear in the lower right corner of your computer screen displaying a message - new hardware found(usb storage) ignore that

go to your music folder and right click on the song and select - send to (whatever drive your usb cable is plugged into - for example - :J drive

you should see a grey box appear up in the left corner of your screen displaying the copy animation.
Once your finished with the transferring part, you are going to want to unplug the usb cable from your phone and computer, then look up your sounds file in your phone to make sure it's there and plays.

After the first transfer, it's a piece of cake from there! =)

LG shine: using my mp3s as ringtones

Make sure the file is mp3 format, 600 kb or smaller, and 30 seconds or less. You can make your own ringtones at the following sites:

Once you have your ringtones ready, there are many different steps you can follow depending on what you have available on your phone.

1. If you have internet/text messaging: sites like cellsea and myxertone will provide you with instructions.

2. If you have a usb cable: connect your phone making sure it's in Mass Storage Mode. You can do this by going to settings, connection, usb connection mode, mass storage. Open the folder for your phone on your computer. It should be one of the choices of storage when you go to My Computer. Place your ringtones into the Sounds folder. And voila! It should be in the ringtone menu in your phone.

3. If you have a MicroSD memory card: Create a folder on the memory card. Name it anything other than Music (the phone will automatically create a Music folder which can not be used as ringtones). Once you insert your card into your phone, the tunes should come up when you open your ringtone menu!

Hope this helps! Good luck! :)
