Those doors are controlled by whats called vacuam hoses that force air to the doors that control all the selections of the vents on dashboard. the flipper door that changes the floor to defrost is usually located on passenger side up under dash. the actuator valve would be right around there and there should be a vacuam hose about 3/8 in diameter going to it. the flipper door will be insde the big air vent coming through the fire wall to floor vent

Heater only blows out defrost

The defrost position is the default for safety so that air always blows on the windshield in case of frost.
The most common problem is a faulty blend door under the dash.
In most cases the door must be calibrated with a scan tool if you replace it.

Heater blend door actuator

The blower will supply air no matter where the blend door is positioned, it will be hot cold or somewhere in between but you will have full airflow, so the blend door or the actuator is not the problem. Find the air intake for the blower (at base of windshield) and make sure it is not full of leaves or if you have a passenger cabin air filter (commonly called a pollen filter) it is not plugged up.

My 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 seems to not be pumping heat from the floor vents, only the dash and defrost vents. Could it be a problem with the blend door? if so where do i find it and what should I do. This...

Yes, it's a blend/mode door problem. Seems like it was pretty common for a few years. I've heard that Dodge has switched manufacturers for this part.

There's no easy fix for this. The dash and the hvac box have to be removed to get to the blend doors. You also have to disconnect the A/C lines and then recharge them...

Any chance you're still under warranty?

Here's a link to a website that has info and parts about the issue. (no affiliation)

Sounds like the "Blend Doors" are not completely closed (or opened). The Blend Doors open and close to direct the air from the blower motor to the vent selection you have made on the control panel (defrost on windshield, floor, front, etc) You may need to try various selections to see if the blend doors actually open or close. If no changes, it could be a blend door actuator failing.
