Question about DCS DD-224C Dishwasher
The water lines to the dishwasher often have a valve to turn it off under the sink... make sure this is turned on. If this is a recent installation perhaps the flexible hose was bent as the dishwasher was pushed into place. It not then there is nothing left but an electrical problem. The water comes in through a solenoid (an electrically controlled valve) and through the timer/control board. Nothing will operate if the door isn't closed properly as a safety feature. Also there is often a float mechanism inside on the bottom that turns off the water if it floats telling the controller that there is enough water in the machine. Each of these possibilities has to be pursued.
