Question about Bosch Washing Machines
If the error is E17, the drain pump filter is clogged. Unplug the washer first. You will need to remove the front panel on the washer. Some models have Torx screws holding the front panel at the bottom; in that case, you'll need to elevate the front of the washer. Get a bucket to collect the water from the tub. Then remove the cap over the pump; don't break it off. Let the water in the tub fall into the bucket. Then reach into the trap and clean out the foreign objects. Near the bottom of the area, there is a micro-switch that may have styrofoam under it. Check if there is any water causing the styrofoam to float and keep the switch up. Dry out any water there. Replace the cap and the front panel. Try your washer again.
I hope this helps.
